monday - thursday (13) survivors Sunday's trial was only mere hours ago, but you find yourself faced with a new week on The Pygmalion. When you awaken, you will find that the ship is still in disarray; there is no robot prepared breakfast, nor has any of the damage been repaired. The ship is mostly cast in darkness, with the exception of a few rooms, though light may flicker in and out in some rooms. Without Alice, you are all on your own. The ominous pressure of the Queen Mother still looms, though you no longer feel Her presence. [Considering the circumstances, it may be startling to hear a voice suddenly emerge from the speakers. This isn't Alice's cool tones however, nor the insiduous song of the Queen Mother; rather, this is a deeply sarcastic and irritated woman's voice that only a few on the ship will recognize as familiar.]

--keep me out of own programs, you bitch? Eat fifteen years of post-graduate doctoral work!

[From every statue, a hologram of a woman flows out - not composed of water this time, but of clouds. As she speaks, the clouds continously disperse and fly back together, as if avoiding someone's grasp.]

Listen up, Pygmalion, this is the Nuwa speaking! I don't have much time here before the Queen traces our location, so I'll make this quick. Nice work destroying the fuel reserve - you might be dead in the water, but it'll block off her access to the ship and buy you a little more than a week before the emergency life support runs out or the Queen herself shows up to physically drag you all back to whatever pit she spawned from. That's still a week you can use.

You need to find her last remaining connection to the ship and sever it. Get my drift? Kill the last Souvlaki left. To do that, you'll need to get the execution and voting programs running again - they're the only things that guarantee a clean wipe. You've all seen what one of those things can do even with a corpse, and now you're likely dealing with the worst of them all. River might be dead, but there should still be traces of her left. As for the trial itself, you won't have any power to rely on the usual tech, but I'm sure you're all creative enough to do it by hand.

And the motive...are you listening carefully, you alien bastard? I've set the self-destruct mechanism on the Pygmalion to an automatic trigger. If there's no trial by the end of this week, or if there's too few people left for one, it'll detonate and blow the entire ship into nothing but sub-atomic particles. Try surviving that. And any of you non-infected who might be tempted to kill just to prevent it going off, let me tell you...death would be far, far better than whatever awaits you once the Queen finds you.

Should anyone be on the middle deck at this point of the evening, they'll hear a loud, metallic sound coming from the hallways. ...granted, the door's locked...and so he frowns. Give him a few moments to concentrate with his hand on the door, seemingly staring at it but pouring energy into making his powers work to unlock the door. How's that working out?]

[ At some point on Monday, the whiteboard has been brought into the parlor for everyone to see. On it, there's a list of names grouped together. When everyone seems to be around, he'll announce: ]

Right, so. Someone's going to die but we at least want to make thing easier to narrow down. That's why for the week, we'd like to set up a curfew. Before 6PM, you can do whatever you want around the ship but you should always be with someone else. Doesn't matter who.

After 6PM, we should all meet up in here and stay the night. If you do want to leave, you must go with your group. [ He points at the names on the board. He'll also write down these rules in case anyone happens to forget. ]

[No one's around to tell me otherwise, so Marinette throws up her yo-yo into the air, as hearts start to reign down, and then they cluster together to form an item]

[ When the hearts finish coming together in an adorable fashion, the item that drifts down with a little flap is a blueprint of the ship.

Looks like there's a breaker box in the engineering dock. Judging by the notes around it, it seems like they can decide what rooms and levels of the ship have power, to boot. ]

[Tuesday morning, as most of the late sleepers begin to stir and everyone gathers for breakfast, Dorian has something to say. Grell or Yuno might have noticed him slip out to the chapel alone at some point late in the evening, for only about ten minutes.]

Last night, our friends on the other side managed to make contact. I don't think they'll be able to do it much more, what with the power limitations. But I spoke to the Bull, Shelley, Adelina, Machias and Allen for a brief moment.

They wanted to assure us, first and foremost, that the Nuwa and its passengers are in no danger. Apparently, the threat was intended to draw the souvlaki out of hiding. Obfuscations on obfuscations, as it always was with our dear friend Alice. They were apologetic for having caused us to worry, but Adelina wanted everyone to know that we'd done well, and minimized casualties. She and Shelley both send their regards.

I also have a few personal messages. I'm sure you don't want to hear me read them, so I've written them down.

[There's a small stack of neat sheets of paper, folded in two, with the names of the recipients written on the outside.]

[Judar looks momentarily startled, then relief flickers over his face for a second before it changes into anger.]

Now that our power's been restored to us, how should we proceed? Miss Sunny's instructions were quite clear - we need the programs for voting and for execution to be reinstated if we want to get rid of the last Souvlaki and cure its host instead of having to sacrifice them in the process of taking the vermin's head.

[which she assumes would make it happy, to have its host go down as a casualty.]

If her other words are to be believed, then the key might lie in those "traces" of Lady Alice she mentioned. So, where should we look?

[ Jack laughs lightly, then shrugs. It seems like he has something in mind, which isn't much of a surprise considering he's the resident techie and computer programmer, but the way he's smiling doesn't quite fit that. It seems like Jack has something more in mind than that. ]

I mean, I can do that, no problem.

[ There's another shrug, and he just adds very casually: ]

I mean, wayyyy easier now that the bitch is dead, since I can just friggin' tell y'all without her trying to strangle me. I assimilated with Alice weeks ago, so getting into the systems? Easy. Give me some time and I'll recreate those programs without any issues.
