EXECUTION LOADING...5 MIN TO GO

So anyway. Man, every single time with this kid. I knew I should've changed his vote.
no subject
Let him go!
no subject
Why would I? I'm getting "cleansed" soon anyway, aren't I? I think I'll stay right where I am. ... Well, not literally.
[and he fucking books it for the OPEN DOORS, YOU FUCKING MORONS NEVER REPLACED THE CONFERENCE ROOM DOORS???? HE'S RUNNING]

Are we ready to go, then? I've got a program to dismantle.

[okay his own mandataory villainous monologuing over, he points his staff at Adrien]
Ramz al-salos! [Spears of lightning crash down around him...but honestly, for all his bragging, his actual power has been heavily nerfed so his spells aren't anywhere as strong as Dorian's.]
no subject
[there's something unnatural and creepy at the way he skitters and moves to dodge the lightning; like a mix of Adrien's chat grace and... well, some sort of bug.]
But don't worry, I plan to make way for Her so you can see for yourself.

And what do you know about dismantling programs anyway? [Oh. Are we talking first? Guess we're talking first.]

[there's legitimate amusement in the thing's "face", cut in half as it is. it was there, and it was listening, apparently.]
Are you going to finally do something, then? Maybe kill yourself? That seemed to work last time, right?

As soon as there's a moment where Marinette or one of the warriors isn't in the way, he'll chain lightning him. It sends an arc of lightning that jumps around the room; if he tries to dodge, it will try to hit him several times. Cast from somewhere in the back; he's being reckless, but he's still staying at the back of his range.]

[Judar's spells might not be as powerful, but that doesn't matter if he can rely on someone else's. When he sees Dorian shoot off the lightning, he'll strengthen it with his own lightning magic.]

the door acts a shield enough for her for the debris, and while the creature's distracted with some of their other efforts, Grell takes the handle in two hands and hurls the thing at it. whether it connects or is deflected, her scythe's out to be its own sort of shield, ready for his counter.

[But there's only one way she can think of to save Adrien and them, one last gambit. Her last chance. And they need a miracle.]

Follow my lead. And whatever you do--- save him! You have to save him!

EXECUTION
On the projector that Marinette has summoned, the video starts with a stutter.
He is in the middle of the ocean, on a gondola lit by golden lights from round, paper lanterns that float up and away. He looks peaceful, fingers laced as he lays in the boat, facing the sky with his eyes closed. He looks more dead than alive, and you’d be forgiven for thinking so. The view pans up, up, and further away. The navy expanse of the ocean stretches on forever, but the lanterns light it up in a calm, soft way. It's peaceful, serene, almost too much so.
A noise rouses him and he sits up, peering over the edge of the boat to seek out the source. He sees, then, another. Someone else at sea, and Adrien stands when he sees who is in the other boat.
Marinette looks just as peaceful, but her body is pale, too pale to be warm to the touch anymore. The lanterns cast a golden tone over her deathly pallor, and Adrien cups his hands over his mouth to shout her name: "Marinette!" Again. Again. Again. She doesn't respond.
Tentacles suddenly wrap around Marinette’s boat, dragging it under the water. Adrien shouts in alarm and immediately dives after her, plunging into the sea. He swims desperately, going deeper and deeper until the light from the lanterns vanish completely, but always just barely out of reach of Marinette’s body. Eventually he emerges in a sparkling underwater cave, dozens upon dozens of shimmering crystals lining the walls and reflecting his face back at him - but where the real Adrien looks furious and desperate, all of his reflections show him with a calm and cheerful smile on his face. As he walks deeper into the cave, the crystals grow more flawed, warping the images of his smile until they shatter and crack.
Finally he reaches a dimly lit cavern at the end of the cave. Marinette’s boat lies on the floor - but above it is an enormous translucent crystal. Pinned and trapped within, eyes closed and face serene, is Chat Noir. As Adrien approaches, the crystal begins to peel and small cracks run through it - and that’s when it becomes clear that rather than a crystal, this is actually a chrysalis...and it’s hatching.
Chat Noir’s eyes snap open as fleshy tentacles emerge from his back, forming an enormous facsimile of butterfly wings against the sky. He reaches for the stunned Adrien, cupping his face almost gently with a beatific smile.
”Who are you really?” And then his voice changes, deepens into one of a man’s. ”Adrien...so you really were just this worthless after all. You’d be better off gone.”
And then Chat Noir lunges at Adrien. The video cuts off there, leaving Adrien's still breathing body on the ground.]

Congratulations, Pygmalion. You did it. The last of those bastards is gone and the ship is clean, which means the first stage of the Project is officially over. No more motives, no more trials, no more murders. Welcome to the club. I've activated immunity for all survivors left - it won't heal the wounds you currently have or stop you from dying from them, but it'll prevent infection at the very least.
It's not over yet, but you should get some rest while you can. I'll talk to you tomorrow.
[She vanishes. True to her word, all remaining survivors will now have an immunity shield around them.
Getting rest will be difficult though. Whether it's one last telepathic move from the hivemind or a psychic attack from the Queen Mother is impossible to tell, but everyone will suffer from vivid night terrors tonight, similar in nature to what the Queen would have shown them during their interaction last week.]

However, the letters are all variations of keysmashing because Arbok can't speak human no matter what universe he's in despite being sentient, apparently. Clover will get the most messages from Arbok, Judar the second most, though everyone will get one at some point. If they reply, Jessie is sure to follow up shortly after. But he just wants to check on everyone, too!]

and it isn't until like ass o'clock at night that she responds, because she's busy getting her cool new stomach wound patched up and babysitting Judar and adamantly refusing to sleep and drinking probably enough coffee to kill her but once she does check Furry Passing there sure are like eight million illegible messages from a snake. This is the only happy thing that's happened to her all day.
So she responds with like eight million heart emojis and makes her avatar do the flowery smile back.]

...and he'll just keysmash back before passing out again, since he doesn't have the energy for any actual messages. Hopefully Arbok gets the gist anyway!!]
