[before her face hardens into anger, and she's snagging the largest piece of debris that her yo-yo can hook around]

The sudden rush of speed is probably surprising, because Adrien certainly isn't that fast, and the "hand" he's extending towards her is most definitely the blade one, aiming straight at her throat]

[he hasn't been taking her seriously, and that's a price he's paying when he's falling to the ground and she's back up, though he sends a tentacle after her with a snarl even as he's getting up from the fall]

You can flee as much as you like, but I'm not going anywhere!
