no subject
As soon as there's a moment where Marinette or one of the warriors isn't in the way, he'll chain lightning him. It sends an arc of lightning that jumps around the room; if he tries to dodge, it will try to hit him several times. Cast from somewhere in the back; he's being reckless, but he's still staying at the back of his range.]
no subject
[Judar's spells might not be as powerful, but that doesn't matter if he can rely on someone else's. When he sees Dorian shoot off the lightning, he'll strengthen it with his own lightning magic.]

One that will be immediately destroyed by a tentacle stabbing them, and that will leave Dorian dizzy and light-headed and stumbling, but it's bought them another moment.
He doesn't have any mana to retaliate with, though, so it's on you, Judar.]
no subject
[Yeah, he absolutely would have been taken out there if it wasn't for Dorian's barrier, so thanks. It's this gratitude - and also mostly the fact that he needs Dorian's powerhouse spells - that keeps Judar on the ground in front of him while he recovers.]
Thalg al-Salos! [The familiar icicles materialize and fly towards Adrien again. Judar's well aware this is definitely not going to be enough to kill him or even seriously wound him, but right now, his priority is just getting him to back off. He might not have a mana limit, but casting this many spells in succession while also having to keep a barrier up around someone else is clearly starting to take its toll.]
no subject
You know what, move out of the way. He's got something I want.
no subject
[Well, he can't really move easily right now, drawing together his remaining strength to keep from passing out, but he still has the strength left for sass. You're on your own, Judar.]
no subject
Just toss him to the side like the piece of trash he is. Sorry Dorian, you're also on your own now...]
no subject
[ALSO HE'S NOT SORRY?]
It's really more the principle of the thing.
[and that's what he says before aiming to stab Dorian with his armblade instead of a tentacle because it'll be easier to find the ring if he's dead? i guess? what the fuck]
no subject
He clutches the staff for support, breathing heavily for several seconds as though he's about to collapse, but instead he replies.]
All right, all right. You can have it. I believe that - [A pained gasp as he clutches his side where he's beginning to bleed even though the leather.]
Darn it all, that's right. I left it back in the conference room. Shall we go get it? [If he dies he's going to die sassing someone, damn it.]
no subject
Mind if I cut in?
[there will be no time for a reply, given how she takes Dorian around the middle and pushes him behind her. move, make sure it can't hit you, live. something like that. as long as there's enough time for him to get to safety, it's enough, and she doesn't mind shedding a little more blood for it.]
no subject
[he'd been aiming to stab straight at Dorian's throat, but with Grell in the way, he will instead aim to... stab straight at Grell's throat. What. It's a good plan. He's not changing it.]

Still tied to your Mother's apronstrings? Do any of you actually think for yourselves?
[by now, she's on the defensive, not striking out at him but keeping herself and Dorian safe, racking her brains to think of how they could get him downstairs.]
no subject
She believed in us and left this ship to us, to take and conquer in Her honor. But you wouldn't know anything about what one would do out of love and devotion, would you?
[it's a vague guess, and he's less preoccupied with cutting her down verbally than he is about cutting her physically. Thanks to his extra tentacle appendages, he has more limbs than places she can cover, and anything he can slice at he tries-- arms, legs, chest, face-- anything to make her hurt and get her out of the way. An outright stab won't work while she's defensive, but he has hopes for death by a thousand paper cuts. If paper cuts are being sliced with a knife now.]
