[there's not much she can do at this distance - she won't make it if she runs - other than something thought up in a single second that probably won't even work. but if they do nothing, Clover's as good as dead.

which is why, from a different side, half of that door Grell brought in is now being thrown back at the alien. it probably won't do anything other than give Clover a few seconds of time to use, but it's a distraction whether it connects or not. enough time for something to happen.

that said, she's not staying in the same location after she throws it, she's racing to a different one.]

[at first he doesn't answer clover-- only trying to burst her stupid bubble barrier with swipes and stabs, because he has no idea what she's referencing when she talks about only having to be afraid of herself. he might be the Hivemind, but even he wasn't privy to his Queen's fun time conversations with everyone.

then even if he wanted to he is distracted by that stupid door again, and he dodges it by moving away this time. he still has Clover's scythe, but maybe if she books it now...]

[Grell is too far for him to bother, and he's had a bias against Clover since she was involved in Elizabeth's showdown, so that distraction only lasts a few seconds. better make them count.]
