friday (?) survivors Friday comes with no corpses in sight yet. With Alice and most of the ship's power offline, there's no alarm to rouse you all from your sleep. [At 1:10PM, the sprinklers abruptly go off in every area of the ship, though no signs of fire can be seen on either the middle or lower deck. It appears that the automatic sprinkler system has been set up so that when one sprinkler is triggered, all of them are. That said, it's just water, right? Perhaps annoying, but ultimately harmless.

It may take a few moments to notice, but while the liquid coming out of the sprinklers is clear, it has a sickly sweet scent to it that water does not. The effects of breathing in the liquid are almost immediate, as everyone on the ship will begin feeling dizzy and faint. While they can try to cover up their noses or avoid breathing it in, there's no escape; the sprinklers are constantly going off in every room and corridor, saturating the entire ship in the liquid.

Within two minutes, every character who is not immune to poison will have passed out from the effects of the liquid. They will not wake up for at least 20 minutes, by which point the sprinklers will have stopped going off. When they do, they may suffer from side-effects such as grogginess, disorientation, nausea, and short-term memory loss.]

gardens, 1:30

[ The buddy system was going so well. Adam wakes up next to Luke, staring at the dirt in the gardens before realizing that something caused them to pass out. ]

Fuck. [ He doesn't really want to get up but he manages to, shaky on his feet. Adelina's sword is still on the ground next to him but he doesn't have the balance to grab it yet. Instead, he pulls at Luke's shirt to get him up as well. ]

Hey, are you alright?

[Luke's passed out a few times in his lifetime, but usually he at least can pinpoint what happened. One minute, he's running through drills with Adam out of lack of anything else to do on this ship, the next the sprinklers are on and freaking out and he's face-down in the dirt. While Adam gets to his feet he has to drag Luke into a sitting position and he's rubbing his face suddenly.]

And to think I've been avoiding a dirt nap this whole time. [But he's on his feet and immediately grabbing Backbiter. He can bounce back faster than Adam, but he's also immediately glancing around.] What was that all about?

[The garden's soaked in the sweet-smelling liquid, but aside from that, it doesn't look like anything's changed from when the two of them had been awake.]

kitchen/cafeteria, 1:30

[Alas, Judar's barrier was totally useless here again, because while he'd tried to get one up around himself and the other two problem children, he took too fucking long to realize that they needed one at all and was already soaked with the liquid by that point.

So he'll be waking up and groaning miserably from the floor along with everyone else. Probably still has cinammon in his mouth too.]

What the fuck. [He tries to stagger to his feet, gives up, and just flops back down to the ground again.] How much fucking booze did you put in those pancakes?

[points for effort, maybe, Judar. anyway one of the many problems with being so goddamn tiny is that there isn't a whole lot of room for poison tolerance so Clover isn't even making an attempt to stand up? she's not even gonna try. she's on the floor and the scythe is on the floor and that's just where they're staying. instead of answering him for real Clover just groans. it's about as snarky as a groan is capable of sounding.]

[Yeah. Yeah. Jason most likely passed out in the most undignified matter, with spat up cinnamon on his shirt after bullying mistakes were made. He's not attempting to get up just yet, taking a moment to try and regain a sense of what happened, but he will wearily raise a hand to start checking himself over. No dismembered limbs as far as he can tell. Great.]

No— Not nearly enough booze to get blackout drunk. [Never mind that he sounds like he got hit by a truck while saying this. He sniffs the air, audibly and stupidly.] Shit. This is... Did we just get showered in chloroform? How are we not dead?

[He already feels like death? Props to the asshole who did this.]

hallway, 1:30 PM

[Dorian had been with Grell and Jessie walking down the main corridor at the time of the sprinklers. Now, he's waking up on the floor outside the conference room, feeling and looking much like he had Monday morning, only now cold and damp with runny kohl on top of it. He has his staff out in one arm, halfway to casting something before a wave of dizziness pulled him under.

His immediate reaction, in his groggy state, is how dare someone do this when he'd used up his alotted shower time only an hour or so before. Then, he remembers to be concerned about the situation.]

Are you both all right? It seems someone is commiting crimes against decent grooming. [See, he's really not such a bad person. He's looking around to check for Grell and Jessie before he even wipes clean his smudged eyes.]

[erythristic]

[one of the women is collapsed in a red heap, out completely cold. it will take a shake or two before she starts to open her eyes. her body feels so heavy, and she's so tired.]

...Dorian? 'S that you?

[let her catch up to things as she tries to fight off whatever just happened. she has to remember where they are first.]

hallway, 1:30pm

[ haha oops dave was dropping off a yandere to jack a little before the sprinklers so he's. buddyless in a hallway on the way back to where the furries were. it wasn't supposed to take more than a few minutes to get back there? and he's not an alien (anymore) so?????????

he doesn't actually get up from where he's sprawled on the floor, though. ]

[Dave might want to get up from where he's sprawled, because there's a strong smell of smoke on the top deck. It seems to be coming from the room with the AI core.]

elevator corridor, 1:30

[because he is somehow STILL not fucking dead, what the heck, adrien groans from where he's lying face down on the floor. he doesn't want to get up or move?? what day is it??? how the fuck is he going to push himself upwards with one arm. he doesn't want to roll over so he can sit up and make it easier? fuck it maybe the floor can answer him.]

[Aaaaand right next to him is his wife, slumped on the floor, still unconscious.]

[Everyone is gathered. Everyone looks like shit. Everyone is unhappy. Seems up to par for what has become the Pygmalion standard.

The elevator isn't arriving at the middle deck when Jason calls for it, due to reasons that anyone heading down will most likely discover soon, but for now... He takes this moment to look at everyone. Jack isn't here, which is worrying. Jessie is gone, too, but they kind of had to walk past her corpse to get here. That's one out of two, both of them with public roles.]

So... Before we go hunting, catch us up. What has everyone found so far?

Jack's body is up top with his head blown off. In the AI Control Room. He's missin' an arm and shit, but I didn't really stop to check him out. Yuno was there, too, but she was alive so I got her to the medbay to fix her up.

The elevator isn't working, btw, I had to fly us down here. I can fly people up or down, but it'll take a few trips unless y'all feel like riding in my sylladex.

[Not that most of you don't already know. Her corpse is still laid out in the hall. Dorian's still somewhat damp robes are stained with blood.]

Jack's arm was there, next to us. It was making a gesture. I'm not sure what's become of Arbok.

Marinette and I woke up around here, and our miraculous are missing. [there's a pause before he adds, unnecessarily:] My ring and her earrings. We were transformed before this, so...

[well. obviously now they can't be.]

lower floor exploration

[Thanks to being shoved into the sylladex Adam and Luke find themselves on the bottom floor of the ship. He knows Jason's taking his group upstairs and Dave and Dorian are watching the middle deck. That's enough for him and he keeps Backbiter present, glancing at Adam carefully.]

...where do you wanna start first? We've got a lot of ground to cover and it's just you and me.

Incinerator. [ He's quick about it since if it was used, it'd be nice to check if it's still warm. He grabs onto Luke again because they aren't team codependent for nothing and leads him off to there.

Anything standing out in there or on their way? ]

elevator investigation

[ all right since he should stay in the elevator shaft or near to it so he can hear people calling for a lift back to the middle floor, dave assigns himself (and by proxy yuno since he hasn't put her down yet) to investigating the elevator. LET'S JUST GO DOWN TO IT. if he can't get in through the doors he will check for a hatch on the top since he's pretty sure elevators have those? and like.

Honestly I'm kinda surprised no one broke the elevator before now?

Why would someone break the elevator?

[ seems like a lot of work for a few seconds more of speed, if they're just escaping. she wouldn't bother, too, it leaves a hell of a trail. she's peeking over his shoulder by balancing her chin there. ]

No one's had to do it before, anyway. It's just a lot of hassle for something this big, right?

top floor

[Presumably after catching a ride on the Strider Elevator, Jason, Judar and Clover will arrive at the top level of the ship. All he has right now is his dagger, which is. Not very good if they need to cut anything down. Yikes.]

... Well, here we are.

[So. Scan of the general area. Is there anything noticeable in respect to the statues, the C.Q., or the area they immediately find themselves in? And more importantly, is the Gaea room still smoking?]

[Looking extremely cross as they head into the Gaea room. He has his barrier up around the three of them, though it's less as a precaution against smoke and danger and more so he can feel like he has access to at least some of his magic even without his staff. This may be the only time where Judar actually wants to feel useful for once.]

Ugh, why are we the ones looking at Jack's corpse again? Not like it's gonna get any more dead by tomorrow.
