It may take a few moments to notice, but while the liquid coming out of the sprinklers is clear, it has a sickly sweet scent to it that water does not. The effects of breathing in the liquid are almost immediate, as everyone on the ship will begin feeling dizzy and faint. While they can try to cover up their noses or avoid breathing it in, there's no escape; the sprinklers are constantly going off in every room and corridor, saturating the entire ship in the liquid.
Within two minutes, every character who is not immune to poison will have passed out from the effects of the liquid. They will not wake up for at least 20 minutes, by which point the sprinklers will have stopped going off. When they do, they may suffer from side-effects such as grogginess, disorientation, nausea, and short-term memory loss.]
