Jack's body is up top with his head blown off. In the AI Control Room. He's missin' an arm and shit, but I didn't really stop to check him out. Yuno was there, too, but she was alive so I got her to the medbay to fix her up.

The elevator isn't working, btw, I had to fly us down here. I can fly people up or down, but it'll take a few trips unless y'all feel like riding in my sylladex.

[Gods. He's just giving Jason a stealth-look at the mention of Jack and shaking his head.]

Okay, what were Jack and Yuno doing in the AI control room? That's my next question. [He bites his lip, Backbiter resting against his shoulder and other hand occupied by Adam's for the time being.] Adam and I were checking out a few of the rooms up here and didn't find much but a bunch of flooding. Did find there's a missing bottle of vodka. We were gonna head down but looks like somebody cut the cable to the elevator and the thing's crashed at the bottom.

Are we splitting up then?

Idk. I dropped Yuno off with Jack a bit before the whole. [ vague shoulder shrug. ] Being knocked out thing? I was just heading back to meet up with Adrien and Mari after that, but obviously that didn't become a thing. I don't really question where everyone hangs out at this point.

[ YUNO AND JACK WERE BUDDIES AND JACK WAS CLEAR? ]

It's not that. [He shakes his head.] Whatever, we'll figure it out later. How many people can you actually fit in that thing anyway?

[ so, five people. he's reasonably sure he can lift everyone left alive, so the size limitations shouldn't be a problem. ]

Right. [He doesn't like the idea of being shoved into the sylladex either, but they're wasting time by not heading down there.] Parrish and I wanted to head down to the lower floor. Think you could get us there?

Yep. Just let me know when you wanna go. I don't think you'll register any of the time in the 'dex, so it should be an instant trip.

Well... He's working on getting the program running, so I wanted to check up on him and see if he wanted lunch.

[ it. was lunch time. now it's deda time ]

[Yuno...he's really glad she's alive? Being alive sure is great! So he's giving her a quick look to make sure she's not on the verge of dying anytime immediately as he nods.]

And what happened after that? Another bomb?

[ she's pretty pale. nausea's still there from the oh-so mysterious liquid (which she's pretty sure was chloroform, personally? she's a stalker she knows), so there's definitely some indication she isn't doing super well, but. absolutely still alive. both her arms are wrapped up, but luke knows that the right arm's for a chemical burn. her legs are also bandaged -- there's why she's hitching a ride. ]

A bomb... maybe? I'm not sure. It happened really fast. The fire, and then the sprinklers. I knocked out as soon as those turned on.

There's no way somebody's stupid enough to try another bomb so soon. [Or maybe they are. It's hard to say. He's unhappy with her condition but she's stable enough to talk and Dave's got her. That's all he can ask and he'll just have to check with her again after all of this.]

We all got knocked out which means that somebody also took the time to rig the whole sprinkler system while we were running around on low power. We're gonna figure it out. I think Jason Clover and Judar are heading up...Adam and I are going to head down to the lower deck. You and Dave'll be fine here, right? [PLEASE?]

[ dave's pretty much the only reason she's alive at this point, honestly. much less in as good a condition as she is. she owes him. ]

I can't walk. [ like. her legs are burned. it's pretty awkward. wherever dave is, yuno is. she literally refuses to leave him... sorry dave ] So I'll be with my ride, yes. He's comfortable.

[Judar looks extremely grumpy about the prospect of anyone flying him anywhere since this should be basic shit he could do himself if some asshole didn't steal his staff, but that last comment actually catches his interest.]

If it's the most efficient way, then fine. We'll go in the sylladex. Clover, Judar and I are heading up. Someone's gotta see to that corpse and check out whatever the hell happened up there.

That's the elevator, btw. Since I am apparently an elevator now. And yeah, it's the most efficient. I can cut it down to two trips like that.

[ HE'S NOT WRONG. the trip should basically just be the blink of an eye to jason: standing on the middle floor one second, standing on the upper floor the next, exactly as he had been on the floor below. ]
