monday - thursday (23) survivors Sunday's trial was only mere hours ago, but you find yourself faced with a new week on The Pygmalion. When you awaken, you will find the ship restored to its previous state, all areas interfered with during the murder looking mostly the same as they did before. Along with this, it appears there are new areas opened on the ship. It seems you have more exploring to do. The robot in the cafeteria has prepared another breakfast of various foods. Tuesday, viewport pretty much all day

[For the most part, Luke is strangely absent on Monday. He's appeared on and off for a few people, but mostly he remains out of sight. He makes up for it on Tuesday when he can be found in the viewport with a small nest of supplies around him. In his lap is a notebook that he's procured from somewhere and in his hand is a pen he's using to write, but on occasion he'll use it as a make-shift drumstick. To the side he has a cup of coffee and a space-brand bag of peanut butter cups candy and to his other side is a tablet he checked out from the parlor. It seems to be playing songs from a certain album by a certain band at a volume just loud enough for him but not loud enough to hear unless you're in the doorway of the viewport itself. It's nostalgic and comforting but also kind of obnoxious to anybody else who wants to share the space with him. There's also a collection of other colored pens next to him and he seems to be concentrating pretty heavily, his datapad pretty wedged under his thigh so he doesn't have to look at it. What's he doing? Probably nothing important…probably. Please tell him to turn off the music though.]

Wednesday afternoon, weapons locker

[Ah. It's not like he's never been inside an armory before but this is different. He spends a good chunk of the afternoon looking through weapons, lifting things up and tinkering with whatever he can get his hands on. The locked lockers draw his attention the same way most locked things do but he doesn't think to try and open them yet. At one point, anyone could walk in and find him swinging around that giant key like it's a real sword. Please don't get hit with it.

But it's later that the specialty weapons gets his attention and to anyone nearby also examining the casing, he'll strike up conversation.]

You think these past owners are real people? [Because if so…where are they now?]

[Can also be found around the archives, in the garden, and the art storage room over the course of Tuesday, Wednesday, and up until Thursday night. Assume he's probably looking through texts, writing in that notebook under the pine tree, or examining statues and such or anything else you can think of!]

There's names under all of them, aren't there? They gotta belong to somebody.

[ the way she sees it, alice wouldn't just conjure these from nothing. they're all so specifically designed, too, and the variety in design is too striking for her to have made all of them.. right? unless alice has a really keen design sense. ]

That one's one of the wackier ones. Is it.. sharp?

[He's still holding onto the Keyblade even when Fiona speaks up, but he seems genuinely a little brighter when he registers it's her he's speaking with.]

Maybe the previous crew? Or maybe we just have an AI that's real fond of world-hopping. [It's a pretty outlandish idea, but he can't help but wonder.] This one's not too bad. I'd be more worried about a concussion than actually killing somebody. [There's another test swing but not in Fiona's direction. He can't help but nod to the giant sword in the case though. Seriously why is the buster sword so huge...] I'm curious about that one instead. Still doesn't look too sharp but the size might make up for that.

Pretty kooky crew if they used giant knife-fans as their main damage dealer. A little impractical when you've got, you know, guns.

[ those guns look like major damage dealers in their day, too. she peers over at all the other options, noticing the golden pistols. she'd be tempted to steal them if there was any ammo and if they were practical at all. wouldn't they melt after one use? ]

Says on the door you can ask Alice to look at the stuff in there. She might let you play samurai with it for a while.

[chiseler]

Not if you've got a crew who doesn't know how to fire a gun. Remember that trial? [You know, the one where a bunch of idiots went to shoot a gun and didn't know how to use it.] I still don't really know how to use one myself. [It's a lot of why he's busy staring at the sword and it's...sorely tempting? It's incredibly tempting to ask Alice to open the door and he snorts with vague amusement at her suggestion.]

The only problem with asking her is that I dunno that I'd want to give it back. Backbiter's a good weapon and all that but...look at it. [But what if he just steals the keyblade? What if he does that?] Nice of her to let us test all of these things before we can use them against each other though. What do you think? Wanna take a closer look?

TUESDAY i forgot

[baptizer]

Luke.

[ Elizabeth greeted him, a meek voice that didn't command too much attention. Truthfully, she wouldn't have expected him to hear over the music, but it's not until Elizabeth reaches out to touch at his shoulder that she really gains his attention. ]

Keeping busy?

[ She won't pry on his matters, but yes, the music - ]

Or just enjoying yourself?

[chiseler]

[He doesn't exactly jump when she touches his shoulder but he tenses briefly. He had known someone entered the room based on his periphery vision but when he looks up his expression is partially annoyed. That quickly melts when he sees it's Elizabeth and he smiles instead, casually flipping over a page in his notebook. Even then, the writing on the page is partially letters (misspelled words included) and partially drawings and half-assed notes.)]

Why can't it be both? [He doesn't seem too keen on the idea of sending her away though. In fact, he's being a gentleman and moving some of the crap he's spread out so that she can have a seat if she wants.] With what's been going on, keeping busy's probably the best thing for us. [The current song changes and he glances down at the tablet.] ...you wanna know the truth, or would that suffice?

[baptizer]

No one said it couldn't be. [ She's quick to reassure. Elizabeth was content to stand, but when she sees him clear the area, she sits down, her knees bumping against his. ] If you're not inclined to tell, I'm not keen on pressuring.

[ She does however, smile softly. If he wants to continue the conversation, he can, but she offers an alternative: ]

Have you see the newest room? It's some sort of... museum for weapons. A bit morbid, but they're odd.

[chiseler]

[His eyes light up with vague interest if only because weapons at least make sense to him. That's probably not something that should make sense, but it does. It's comforting in its own weird way, but there's a crooked smile following.]

Haven't made my way down there yet, but I was wondering what new things we got to play with this week. [Luke don't play with weapons. He glances at the notebook again.] Between you and me I wanted to get these things down while I was still thinking about them. [...there's a short pause as he debates asking her his next question.]

Can I ask you a sort of personal question? About last week's motive.

Why would fake people need weapons?

Depends. Why would people need fake weapons? Those still exist though don't they?

Well... For movies and stuff...right? So maybe it's something like that...?

[chiseler]

It's possible. We've been here for two months and I'm still not entirely sure this is all real. [He waves a hand.] Space and all that. Maybe Alice is just tricking us with all of this.

[ This is obviously a cry for attention. Or maybe Luke is just like Ronan, who blasts shitty music to escape the world around him. Either way, the music doesn't bother him much so he goes to stand behind Luke, looking over what he's doing. He's so used to loud music that he doesn't think to tell him to turn it down. What catches his attention most isn't his writing, though. ]

You like peanut butter, don't you? [ He remembers the Ritz. Luke is kind of like a child with a favorite food. ]

[chiseler]

[If it were anyone but Adam he'd have punched him in the face for sneaking up on him. As it is, he lazily tilts his head back to look at him before he grins.]

Nope. [It's mostly an answer to be contradictory, especially given while one hand is doodling in the notebook now the other is reaching into the bag of wrapped peanut butter cups to offer a few to his friend. May as well. His grip on the pen is a little tight and his eyes are looking just past Adam instead of at him. It's only day two.] Whatever gave you that idea?

[ Adam grabs the candy and moves to sit down next to him. Thanks for not punching him. If he weren't worried about Luke (and himself), he would probably leave him alone. As it is, that doesn't seem like the best solution. ]

I dunno. Should have guessed you're just a masochist. [ He eats the peanut butter cups and glances to the notebook every so often, but he's trying to respect his privacy. Trying. ] Is this your emo phase?

[chiseler]

[Truth be told Luke's been keeping an eye on Adam and when he doesn't know where the boy is he's subconsciously looking for him. After their discussion he's been mildly worried about such things, too. But they're both good at Not Talking About It and he actually laughs. The notebook, it seems, is a letter though Adam won't be able to make out who it's to.]

I'm not wearing enough eyeliner for this to be my emo phase, but I can't deny the first part. [He nods to the tablet.] When we had a day to ourselves that we didn't have to worry about getting eaten, sometimes Thalia and I would browse shopping centers. She always liked to listen to music when she could. [The times were very, very rare.] Call it nostalgia, but I think this came out after…everything.

That's an interesting question. Why have them here at all if we aren't to use them? I hope we aren't expecting to have more brawls. I'd look terrible with an eyepatch.

[No problem buddy. Dorian ducks and Luke stops swinging and he hefts the weird sword from one hand to the other. The thing's kind of heavy, but he's not sure what else to expect from it.]

More than likely Alice just doesn't want us damaging any more equipment on the ship. She probably thinks she's doing us a favor by giving us full access to these things. [His lips quirk up a bit.] I don't know if terrible's the word I'd use though. Thinking "pirate" suits more.

Yes, exactly. Pirate isn't quite the look I'm going far. [It would be so bad? With the mustache, too? Can you even imagine?]

[chiseler]

Don't worry, somehow I doubt the eyes would be the first thing anybody would go for with you anyway. [And he's back to swinging around the Keyblade though at least it's away from Dorian.] Do you even know what any of these things are? [He sure doesn't.]

[A shrug.] Wouldn't put anything past this ship. Could be Ass Lice faked them to mess with us, or maybe they were on this ship and went through this project before we did.

[He pauses.] Now that I've said it, if I die, just chuck my staff into the incinerator. I don't want anyone else coming after us fucking around with it.

My money's on the latter if you really wanna know. Don't these kind of things always need tests to make sure the project will work on a real group? [He pulls a face though even as he twirls the keyblade again.]

And while I think I can do that...consider not dying. That might be easier than burning a staff. It's magic, right? For all we know it wouldn't burn at all.

How exactly do we know we're the real group? Seems like there's been a hell of a lot of mistakes being made lately. [LIKE DEMONS...this topic is depressing though let's move on]

You've got a point. [He waves his hand airily, a sharp grin on his face.] Not that I've got any intention of dying here.

[He raises both eyebrows but chooses not to pursue the topic because THAT SURE IS DEPRESSING and fuck these aliens. But he's never thought about them being just another test group so now there's something else to obsess about. Thanks Judar.]

I'm almost afraid to ask what your intentions are. [It can't be just to live given by that look, but maybe Luke's projecting too much.] You're vulnerable this week. What're you gonna do about it?
