WEEK 8
| the pygmalion. . . ONLINE ![]() CAPTAIN'S LOG: WEEK (8) |
monday - thursday (23) survivors ![]() Sunday's trial was only mere hours ago, but you find yourself faced with a new week on The Pygmalion. When you awaken, you will find the ship restored to its previous state, all areas interfered with during the murder looking mostly the same as they did before. Along with this, it appears there are new areas opened on the ship. It seems you have more exploring to do. The robot in the cafeteria has prepared another breakfast of various foods. [radical 6, why][okay no, he doesn't see how it makes more sense, but sure, let's think about it]So how are we supposed to check that, if watches and internal clocks are thrown off? Check nail growth? Have you been getting a 5 o'clock shadow at 2 or anything?

I'd say we find something that can grow...like a plant or something. But the garden seems pretty self-sufficient.

[ahah like he gives a shit about working. everyone else he knows, though...
...better to move on]
Uh, a bean, maybe? It should grow in a glass. So even if there's something weird in the dirt, it wouldn't affect it. ...Right?

Anyway, I think the garden's worth a shot. There's got to be some root vegetable that'd grow in a dark cabinet or something. And even if it doesn't work, it's not like we're any worse off than we are now.

[He's already moving to put the Keyblade away even though his movements are slow like he doesn't want to stop playing with it yet.]

Yeah, let's do some farming. If any robots ask, we're just dedicated to making the perfect french fries.
[he waits for Luke to be ready so they can mosey to real life harvest moon, he is actually pretty excited about this]
I wonder how this stuff grows up here, anyway... Don't most space stories have hydroponics and weird space stuff, not actual dirt?
no subject
I've been wondering the same thing myself. Last time I checked plants need dirt, water and natural light. Nothing about this spaceship is natural but we know the plants are real. Who's taking care of these things, Alice? That makes even less sense. [...] And what's a hydroponic?
no subject
Sure, maybe Alice was like "yeah, while I do want to run a perverse mindgame where folks are killed and possibly eaten, it's also important that I keep my green thumb up to snuff. Honestly, why is there any of this stuff? A library, with stuff from home? A daycare? A pool, which can't possibly be efficient to run in space. ...Maybe it's the aliens.
Hydroponics are like, a way to grow stuff with artificial light and little to no soil...I think. I've mostly seen it in American dramas about people growing drugs in their basements. ...Guess Todd could've come in handy after all.
no subject
[He never thought much of Todd in the first place, but that really sounds like a bad idea.] We know poisonous plants are growing there because of the ivy. Maybe everything that's here really is just a subtle way to kill us.
