monday - thursday (31) survivors Sunday's trial was only mere hours ago, but you find yourself faced with a new week on The Pygmalion. When you awaken, you will find the ship restored to its previous state, all areas interfered with during the murder looking mostly the same as they did before. Along with this, it appears there are new areas opened on the ship. It seems you have more exploring to do. The robot in the cafeteria has prepared another breakfast of various foods. You don't even have a suit on and as far as I know, you can't breathe in space. If you were going all-out astronaut, maybe I'd have let you try it.

"Maybe." Adrien, I'm pretty sure I'm more qualified than you to go into space with or without a suit. [Don't go without a suit, Luke. And honestly he sure does need a babysitter but shut up.] How hard can it be? […hm.] If somebody does snap this week, maybe we can get the executed to open the airlock and see how it goes.

That's not funny, Luke. [wow it turns out after a month and a half sOMEONE still doesn't like talking about murder or executing people? incredible. shocking. it's a pretty mild call-out considering the subject matter, though] If we do want to test out the airlock-- legitimately-- then we should wait for a time when everyone isn't sleep-deprived.

Okay, and what happens if we test out the airlock and we can't bring back whoever we send? Wouldn't it make more sense to wait until someone's going to die anyway…? [It's callous, yes, but:] …it'd probably be way less painful than the retirement they go through.

Yeah, dying in the void of space is usually painless.

[He lifts up both hands, sort of weighing them back and forth in a motion to indicate it's debatable before he gets to his feet. Bye Adrien, Luke's being nosy to go examine some of the suits and stare up at the showerheads.]

Here's the other question. Why are we just now getting to see this? It's been…what, a month and a half?

I don't know. They open up new spots every time we finish a trial. Do you think it's supposed to be some sort of... reward?

Either that or it's to make sure we're playing right to them. Haven't you noticed something? Every time someone dies, it usually takes place in one of the new areas we get. The garden, the pool...[It's almost like it's asking for someone to be thrown out of airlock.] I'd like to see what they come up with after they run out of areas to unlock.

Or maybe when they run out of areas to unlock is when the project stops. I'm not sure I want this to happen long enough to find out, personally.

--huh. Did not even think of that...[But it's a pretty good point.] Nothing else seems to be locking up anymore so there's basis for that, too. There's...31 of us left, right? Maybe they're also waiting for us to reach a certain number before the project's over.

...Maybe. [that also makes sense and... is... terrible :C] I don't know about you, but I don't want to find out first hand how this project is supposed to end.

I don't think any of us really want to find out how it's supposed to end. But I also don't feel like sitting here waiting for whatever Alice has next.

[monsieurchatastrophe]

Me neither. There's gotta be something... [ah. wait.] That's why you were thinking of taking a walk out on space?

[chiseler]

[A shrug.] Something like that. I'm not quite suicidal enough to break her rules completely, but there's always limits to push.

[monsieurchatastrophe]

There are better things to test limits with than your life. [>:/ smh... though that reminds him of something he's meant to ask a while back:] You can unlock doors, right? Normally.

[chiseler]

[...where are you going with this, Agreste.] Yeah. I mean it's not just doors, it's pretty much all locks. Why?

[monsieurchatastrophe]

[he's looking at his hand with the ring when he speaks] It's some kind of power, right? And it just... doesn't work? Nothing happens?

[chiseler]

[To tell the truth, or not to tell the truth...] ...nah, it works. But it only works on one lock a day instead of how it usually works. [But that sure does confirm it's a power versus a skill, so there's that.]

[monsieurchatastrophe]

[that gets him to look up] But not on the "locked" areas?

[adrien start explaining yourself u sound fishy]

[Yeah he's. Skeptical as shit suddenly.]

I've tried. Doesn't work on an area that's not actively unlocked to us, no. Not yet, anyway. What exactly are you getting at?

[monsieurchatastrophe]

Just-- confirming something. [there's a bit of an hesitation as he speaks, like he's choosing his words carefully] There's a power I haven't tested out here yet... I can destroy anything I touch. I know it's more limited here [a weird thing to be sure of, since he just said he hadn't tried it out yet] but I've been afraid of trying to break a door open and getting the operating system so out of whack that we end up... well, out the airlock.

[chiseler]

[Huh. Whatever, if Adrien's goal was for Luke to pay attention to something besides the airlock it totally worked.]

This have to do with the whole good luck bad luck thing? [Breaking things sounds like bad luck, and it's not-quite asking if it's suit-related or something else.] Why not just test it on something like one of the lockers in the gym? That shouldn't have a huge effect on anything. [A pause.] You're sure it's limited?

[monsieurchatastrophe]

[its a two in one because adrien did want some confirmation too for real]

Yeah. The luck is just... an easier way to say it. I'm destruction and she's creation. [it sounds less terrible when he says bad luck, basically.] Testing it on something small isn't a bad idea, but I didn't really want to make a spectacle of it, and if I don't explain how something ended up broken like that, people might ... panic. [people go nuts over the slightest detail here. he shrugs helplessly] I don't know about the capacity of it, but I know I could only do it once a day.

[chiseler]

[Sorry, he's snorting if only because it sounds so bizarre.] If you break something why couldn't Marinette fix it? If she's creation wouldn't that sort of go hand-in-hand?

[monsieurchatastrophe]

She does back home. [he grimaces a bit as he thinks about it] It's-- amazing, but it's not exactly subtle.

[he's considering it, tho, wondering what the light show would look like in the middle of the night]
