WEEK 6 - Investigation
| the pygmalion. . . ONLINE ![]() CAPTAIN'S LOG: WEEK (6) |
friday (?) survivors ![]() Friday comes, and with it, another alarm. At 10:00 AM, a chaotic, dark song plays, more explicitly sinister in tone than previous alarms. As usual, it refuses to stop until you exit your room. The atmosphere seems to change as soon as you open your door, as if you have been left out of something cataclysmic; you feel compelled to explore. Tentatively, you leave your safe haven. taken list profiles setting rulebook ENTER COMMAND_ |

Are any of our medics around? Clover's hurt, but she can still be saved if we hurry. We've two deaths already, and I should hope that's enough.

Where am I headed? [He's walking briskly but he might run on ahead once he receives an answer.] Who are the other two?

[He won't be following after him; he's still keeping a hand on the wall, leaning slightly.]

BYE.]

He'll even give Dorian a quick look-over out of habit to check if the man was injured. When he was satisfied with his cursory glance, he'll come closer. }
...And the names of the two who were killed?

Light and Hancock are dead. Someone set up a contraption that attacked anyone who entered the room. Light and Clover were inside, and Hancock rushed in after them.

[ hey guys what's going on in this thread. fiona strolls up right as dorian says this, and after elizabeth, rhys, and her's idle adventure in the garden.. she's pretty awestruck to hear it was those two who kicked it. especially hancock. and she only felt worried about how elizabeth would take this. ]
God damnit.. We can't let Elizabeth see them, okay? Or any of the teenagers. There's too much.. exposure around here.

[ a thoughtful look, fingers to her chin. ]
I can't believe Hancock would die so easily. He was out almost every night and no one tried anything.

I only hope she wasn't awake to see him killed.

Clover's... [oh no] Who's dead?
[BECAUSE CLOVER WAS SUPPOSED TO BE WITH LIGHT ALL WEEK AND??? THERE ARE TWO BODIES?? ALREADY??? FUck]
no subject
I'm afraid we've lost Light. And Hancock, as well, was hurt trying to save them. We've lost him as well.
no subject
How? [adrien leave dorian alone it's not HIS fault jeez. he takes a breath and tries to Keep Countenance and Think] If--if Hancock rushed in and he... they laid a trap?
[that's??? gross??? and clover??? and light is dead??? this is terrible?????]

[he's not going to ask if she'll be okay because light is fucking dead but if she's alive then he has to align his priorities accordingly]

[Once he's done talking to Dorian or whatever, Jessie will be approaching him on her own. She's a little calmer than she should be, probably, but that's what happens when you get two death notices in a row. You stay put and rest for a minute.]
Tell me what's going on!

Her findings in the garden proved curious, but she's not quite sure what issues would occur from it. It had to be... random, right? It's not until she comes across Dorian. God... she stops, freezing when he speaks: two deaths? ]
You're joking, Dorian. [ No, it was a stupid and childish thing to say. ] Miss Clover... oh my God. Who - who died...? Was it the victim and murderer?
no subject
No, okay, he can handle this. Maybe. Probably. Trying to keep his tone very even.]
The intended target was light; a contraption was set up that appears to have fired shots at Light and Clover, but he managed to shield her. Unfortunately, that contraption was still working when some of us ran in to investigate.
Unfortunately... [He's not made for this.] I'm afraid we've lost Hancock.

[ He survived last week. He trusted her. He lived his life to its questionable fullest and this is how he is rewarded? Dorian can pinpoint the moment the air escaped her lungs too quickly and the immediate swell of her eyes. There's a shake that follows and she feels her knees grow week. She stumbled back and catches herself on the frame of the door. ]
He can't be - Hancock was - he ... Take me to him!
no subject
She shoots Dorian a glare, even though she knows he technically didn't do anything wrong, and goes to Elizabeth's side. ]
Hey.. If you want to go see him, I'll go with you, okay?
no subject
He's extremely relieved Fiona is taking the lead on this.]
Perhaps that would be for the best. Or, I can accompany both of you, if you'd like. [Please say no though???] I'm very sorry, I know that you were close. [Help.]
