friday (?) survivors Friday comes, and with it, another alarm. At 10:00 AM, a chaotic, dark song plays, more explicitly sinister in tone than previous alarms. As usual, it refuses to stop until you exit your room. The atmosphere seems to change as soon as you open your door, as if you have been left out of something cataclysmic; you feel compelled to explore. I'm afraid we've lost Light and Hancock. Someone's methods appear particularly indiscriminate today.

[bloodbiter]

...I see.

[ugh!! she makes a face for a moment before nodding.]

Clover... She was unconscious when she was found, I take it?

[tevinteriscoming]

She was. Frankenstein will see to her; I should hope he'll remove her from the room, the poor thing.

[bloodbiter]

[a sigh]

I only hope she wasn't awake to see him killed.

[tevinteriscoming]

I think not. It appeared he was shielding her. That she's alive is thanks to his efforts, little consolation that it may bring.

[bloodbiter]

I see. And - Hancock as well?

[ugh.]

As if one murder a week was not enough.

[tevinteriscoming]

Hancock as well. The device used was still active when he went in. It's troubling -- it seems our killer truly didn't care who else was hurt. We could have lost three or even more this week.

[bloodbiter]

...I'm glad you were not injured, or worse.

[a scoff, and an angry frown]

Whoever killed them, we will find them out and they will pay for their cruelty. We haven't been incorrect yet.

No need to worry about me, I'm not among our casualties for the day. But I should like to have a very long nap after all of this commotion.

I think seeing such a scene is cause for worry enough... Were you close with either of the victims?

[tevinteriscoming]

Not particularly, no. Though how well can any of us say we know one another?

[bloodbiter]

Yes, that's true. I meant more in terms of fondness than trust, I suppose, but you do have a point.

[tevinteriscoming]

Yes, I know what you meant. Don't listen to me, I can be unbearable in the early morning. I think I may return to my cabin for a spell.

[bloodbiter]

Yes, you should rest. I imagine tomorrow may be even more trying than these trials typically are.
