WEEK 6

the pygmalion. . .

ONLINE

CAPTAIN'S LOG:
WEEK (6)

monday - thursday

(31) survivors

Sunday's trial was only mere hours ago, but you find yourself faced with a new week on The Pygmalion. When you awaken, you will find the ship restored to its previous state, all areas interfered with during the murder looking mostly the same as they did before. Along with this, it appears there are new areas opened on the ship. It seems you have more exploring to do. The robot in the cafeteria has prepared another breakfast of various foods.

(OOC: Please submit your murder proposals by 9 PM EST Tuesday.)

It's no Pokémon I've ever heard of.

[But she's listening to the description. Brown, lots of legs...hm. It might not be the same thing, but.]

You. Do you have any paper on you? Let me show you something.
tacklefordwhimsy: This year sucked (Out with the old)

[personal profile] tacklefordwhimsy 2016-07-11 11:01 pm (UTC)(link)
[Coincidentally, Shelley does have paper and a pencil on her! She gives it to Jessie. One side is blank, use it! Just...don't look at the other side]

Here you go.

Let's see here...

[She takes a seat at one of the tables before drawing a somewhat childish sketch of a bug. She thanks Shelley for the paper sometime while she's drawing, too, she has some manners. Barely. Sometimes. For Shelley, anyways.]

Does a cockroach look like this? These are brownish and have too many legs. We call them Weedle. They're disgusting, and they're poisonous.

[it does look a little like a cock if u squint]
tacklefordwhimsy: Otherwise we're screwed (Let's hope for a deal)

[personal profile] tacklefordwhimsy 2016-07-11 11:30 pm (UTC)(link)
No, cockroaches don't look anything like this, but...

[Welp. Poisonous and disgusting]

...tell me Weedle aren't common in your world, please...

[personal profile] toprotecttheworld 2016-07-11 11:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Hm. No, they're everywhere. It could be worse, some bugs are huge. These ones are only about a foot long and weigh only eight pounds or so. Their evolved form, Beedrill, are much nastier. I hate them.

[But moving on, she wants to know what a cockroach looks like.]

Here. Let's flip this over, and you can draw me a cockroach, alright?
tacklefordwhimsy: These wounds are part of the job (I'm a pro at journalism)

[personal profile] tacklefordwhimsy 2016-07-12 03:55 am (UTC)(link)
[She has changed her mind: your world isn't for her. Huge bugs aren't pleasant, at all]

O-Oh! Give me a moment, I should have a blank paper around here...

[Shelley hurriedly takes away the one Jessie used - Shelley had wanted to talk about the other side, but she chickened out. It's still a touchy topic - and takes out a new piece of paper. The drawing of a cockroach is pretty succint, but that's because she doesn't want to draw too many details. At least it's recognizable as a cockroach]

It's like this! And they're not huge, they're like...this big? [She shows with her fingers. See? This is the size bugs should be]

[personal profile] toprotecttheworld 2016-07-12 01:22 pm (UTC)(link)
People are supposed to find that disgusting? It looks pathetic, just like I'd said. Reminds me of Marinette.

[She's a little bit curious about that paper, so Shelley better keep a good hand on it. Jessie will be watching for a chance to take it.

Next, Jessie draws another bug.]

What about these? Do you have these? These are Pinsir.

[She'll wait for Shelley to admit they resemble a stag beetle or something similar (hopefully) before adding:]

Pinsir are five feet tall, I think. Not much shorter than me.
tacklefordwhimsy: Where is the giant bee man? (Something is not right here)

[personal profile] tacklefordwhimsy 2016-07-12 03:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Five feet tall?! How do you manage to live in a world filled with giant bugs?!

[Seriously!]

W-Well there's a legend back at home about a giant beetle thing that wanders during the night and eats people and...its weakness is sugar. Yeah.

It didn't look very different to this...

[Guess who encountered it once! But yeah. Shelley, dear...that thing didn't look at all like a Pinsir]

[personal profile] toprotecttheworld 2016-07-12 04:03 pm (UTC)(link)
I just count on Arbok. Bugs aren't that impressive. I'd love to get my hands on one of the dragons myself.

[She sketches Heracross next.]

This one is weak to sugar. That twerp has one, but you throw a little honey on the ground and it can't think of anything else.
tacklefordwhimsy: It is not very attractive (Did you know you are going bald?)

[personal profile] tacklefordwhimsy 2016-07-12 04:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay, that one looks more similar to the beetle I saw once, but you say there are dragons?!

[Change of opinion again, your world is cool. Yeah, despite everything strange that happens in Shelley's world, dragons aren't a thing there]
toprotecttheworld: (47)

[personal profile] toprotecttheworld 2016-07-12 04:18 pm (UTC)(link)
That's right. They're rare and powerful, but they do exist. I've seen them a few times myself.

[That's actually kind of a big deal.]

There are seventeen types of Pokémon, and dragons are the rarest.
tacklefordwhimsy: It is not very attractive (Did you know you are going bald?)

[personal profile] tacklefordwhimsy 2016-07-12 04:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay, that settles it. Once I get out of this spaceship, I'm sneaking into your world and I'll obtain a dragon.

[Her eyes are practically sparkling. Congratulations, Shelley has cheered up, even though she didn't seem really that saddened before]

[personal profile] toprotecttheworld 2016-07-12 06:43 pm (UTC)(link)
You might be Rocket Material. I'll have to wait and see before I go inviting you along with me when we make it to the end of this annoying show.

[She likes the Shelley who does illegal things, that Shelley is (chef kiss).]
tacklefordwhimsy: That happens, Amy (I got a man in the shower)

[personal profile] tacklefordwhimsy 2016-07-12 11:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Reeeeally? Wow, that's flattering!

[Somehow the thought of being Team Rocket material is actually...kind of tempting]

What are the requirements to be prime Rocket Material?

[She's even grinning when asking that, but she isn't considering it that seriously]

[personal profile] toprotecttheworld 2016-07-13 05:35 am (UTC)(link)
Don't get ahead of yourself. I still haven't decided. But you're much more suitable than some of these people.

[Jessie is glad they've sorted out their issues.]

You have to be capable of taking charge, ordering James around. You have to be adaptable and in-shape, and you have to remember the motto. Plus, you have to do a lot of stealing and look fabulous doing it.
tacklefordwhimsy: But its skeleton is cute (Your bat is dead)

[personal profile] tacklefordwhimsy 2016-07-13 03:13 pm (UTC)(link)
I can do all that! It would be no pr---Wait. Wait wait wait wait...are you...seriously suggesting to get me to join your group? I mean, your trio?

[She's not very sure about that. Jessie is one thing, but how would that James guy and...uh...who was the third person again? How would they react to another person invading their group?]

I'm not sure a quartet would work very well, and that'd ruin your motto, too.

[personal profile] toprotecttheworld 2016-07-13 03:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course not my trio, you'd have to get your own James to obey your every command. That's how Team Rocket operates.

[James is a commodity except there's nothing like him.]

And the training is very rigorous. They had me perform a heist. Then again, it sounds like you're already used to that.
tacklefordwhimsy: Stop talking badly about me (Don't think I didn't hear you)

[personal profile] tacklefordwhimsy 2016-07-14 03:14 am (UTC)(link)
[Ah, that sounds better, her own team separate from Jessie. Good. Shelley's worries are gone]

Oh, it'll be piece of cake. I'll have no problem at all, you can be sure of that.
toprotecttheworld: (12)

[personal profile] toprotecttheworld 2016-07-14 11:29 am (UTC)(link)
[She should give Shelley a warning, like, watch out for dangerous, unaging ten year olds...but she'll let her learn the hard way, it's only fair.]

We'll have to make sure we get out of here then, first. That's the most important thing. [But a question comes to mind.] Shelley, what do you know about computers?
tacklefordwhimsy: Want to be a whistleblower? (Just asking!)

[personal profile] tacklefordwhimsy 2016-07-14 06:22 pm (UTC)(link)
I have some skill with them, so I'd say I know enough. Why do you ask?

[personal profile] toprotecttheworld 2016-07-14 07:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Do you know anything about programming? I have no idea just how complex a program like Alice might be, so I was curious.
tacklefordwhimsy: But its skeleton is cute (Ryan)

[personal profile] tacklefordwhimsy 2016-07-14 07:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh. I know nothing about programming. Jack knows about this. He owns a company with AIs and robots.

There's one person I'd rather not know I'm clueless about something. I'll pass.
