[Welp. Poisonous and disgusting]
...tell me Weedle aren't common in your world, please...

[But moving on, she wants to know what a cockroach looks like.]
Here. Let's flip this over, and you can draw me a cockroach, alright?
no subject
O-Oh! Give me a moment, I should have a blank paper around here...
[Shelley hurriedly takes away the one Jessie used - Shelley had wanted to talk about the other side, but she chickened out. It's still a touchy topic - and takes out a new piece of paper. The drawing of a cockroach is pretty succint, but that's because she doesn't want to draw too many details. At least it's recognizable as a cockroach]
It's like this! And they're not huge, they're like...this big? [She shows with her fingers. See? This is the size bugs should be]
no subject
[She's a little bit curious about that paper, so Shelley better keep a good hand on it. Jessie will be watching for a chance to take it.
Next, Jessie draws another bug.]
What about these? Do you have these? These are Pinsir.
[She'll wait for Shelley to admit they resemble a stag beetle or something similar (hopefully) before adding:]
Pinsir are five feet tall, I think. Not much shorter than me.
no subject
[Seriously!]
W-Well there's a legend back at home about a giant beetle thing that wanders during the night and eats people and...its weakness is sugar. Yeah.
It didn't look very different to this...
[Guess who encountered it once! But yeah. Shelley, dear...that thing didn't look at all like a Pinsir]
no subject
[She sketches Heracross next.]
This one is weak to sugar. That twerp has one, but you throw a little honey on the ground and it can't think of anything else.
no subject
[Change of opinion again, your world is cool. Yeah, despite everything strange that happens in Shelley's world, dragons aren't a thing there]
no subject
[That's actually kind of a big deal.]
There are seventeen types of Pokémon, and dragons are the rarest.
no subject
[Her eyes are practically sparkling. Congratulations, Shelley has cheered up, even though she didn't seem really that saddened before]
no subject
[She likes the Shelley who does illegal things, that Shelley is (chef kiss).]
no subject
[Somehow the thought of being Team Rocket material is actually...kind of tempting]
What are the requirements to be prime Rocket Material?
[She's even grinning when asking that, but she isn't considering it that seriously]
no subject
[Jessie is glad they've sorted out their issues.]
You have to be capable of taking charge, ordering James around. You have to be adaptable and in-shape, and you have to remember the motto. Plus, you have to do a lot of stealing and look fabulous doing it.
no subject
[She's not very sure about that. Jessie is one thing, but how would that James guy and...uh...who was the third person again? How would they react to another person invading their group?]
I'm not sure a quartet would work very well, and that'd ruin your motto, too.
no subject
[James is a commodity except there's nothing like him.]
And the training is very rigorous. They had me perform a heist. Then again, it sounds like you're already used to that.
no subject
Oh, it'll be piece of cake. I'll have no problem at all, you can be sure of that.
no subject
We'll have to make sure we get out of here then, first. That's the most important thing. [But a question comes to mind.] Shelley, what do you know about computers?
