WEEK THREE - Investigation
| the pygmalion. . . ONLINE ![]() CAPTAIN'S LOG: WEEK (3) |
friday (?) survivors ![]() Friday, and the paranoia that comes with it, inches up your spine like a scorpion searching for prey. The circles around your eyes are as black as space itself, and it's difficult to remember how much sleep you have gotten in the last 72 hours. No alarm comes today. Perhaps you are unsure if that is a blessing or a curse. You feel too wary to leave your room, but you know you will have to eventually. You can only stay here for 12 hours. But you become conscious of your vulnerability, more aware of your blindspots. It becomes difficult to move, paralyzing, taxing on your mind to interact with the physical world — you would rather retreat into your thoughts. Tentatively, you leave your safe haven. taken list profiles setting rulebook ENTER COMMAND_ |

Holding Cells
Well, it’s been a week. Or three days since Niles and Maria, that, too. The last thing she wants to do is find a body or be a body, so she’s going to the safest place on the ship. The holding cells. Surely, no one will be hanging around there.]
Re: Holding Cells
The gate of the cell is locked, but maybe you'll get a reply]

Can Jessie just like stick her hands through the bars and knock the cardboard down. She's going to do that.]

Just jokin'!
The medbay definitely looks like it's had a wild night, though. It seems like someone came in and rifled through all the cabinets, leaving quite the mess in their wake. ]

though she's aware of the sounds around her, she knows she has to get control of herself again. something, or she'll panic, no matter how dangerous all of this is. on reflex, she finds herself folding her hands in front of her, bowing her head.
murmuring under her breath, but she's saying something. praying in a very soft voice. for now, she looks as exhausted as she feels, and while her words can't be discerned from a distance, the tone is enough. please.]

He doesn't want to interrupt someone when they're taking a private moment for themselves.
Despite not wanting to bother the other occupant of the chapel though, he does quietly sit down on a pew to watch Grell and wait for her to finish. When he's sure she's finished, he asks: ] Did it help?

His thoughts go pretty quickly to what had happened several days prior; the gruesome discovery in the Viewport. He has a feeling he may have missed something, so he goes there straight away to have a look around.]

medbay - 7pm
It hasn't been a great day, with him fading in and out of consciousness. Any attempts to talk with him before now would have only gotten a clouded, hazy look, perhaps even an attempt to form something resembling something coherent before fading out. He'd have also attempted to get up, but promptly sat back down by whoever's keeping an eye on him. Stubborn kid.
Machias is sitting up now, anyway; fuck anyone else who says he can't, he does what he wants!! For now, and he's holding a hand to his head and desperately trying to fight off a combination of nausea, ears ringing, on top of a killer headache as he groans. That's progress, even though it was a serious struggle with not only his limbs feeling heavy but those in the wing too. Presumably he has his glasses back at least, or else he'll have not being able to see shit on top of all his other problems.

When he reaches over, it's to support Machias by placing a hand on his shoulder so that he doesn't have to exert as much energy holding himself up.]
Don't push yourself.
