monday - thursday (23) survivors Sunday's trial was only mere hours ago, but you find yourself faced with a new week on The Pygmalion. [ Adam spends enough time in the archives that he knows some of the regulars, but he's never actually spoken to Grell much before. When he sees her looking for something, he steps up to help. ]

What are you looking for? The system is a little confusing, but I think I know where to find some things.

[erythristic]

[seeing Adam, she straightens up from where she's been peering at some of the tomes, trying to decipher if they'll be useful without taking them off the shelves.]

I'm looking for where the books on medicine might be hiding. Anatomy, instructions for giving out first aid, things like that.

[ He's read up a little on anatomy to figure out how to best autopsy, but otherwise he's pretty clueless on where to find those. Not that he can say that. ]

Oh, uh, I think there was... [ He steps away to try to find that book he was reading. ] I guess we've lost just about everyone who might know about that, haven't we? Do you think that was on purpose?

I'd say it was more a turn of fortune's wheel that left us all bereft of their presence. As harsh as this project might be, I find it difficult to believe that they would have been swept deliberately, with their circumstances being so different.

[inwardly, she still thinks that at least one of those deaths could have been prevented, but there was no undoing it.]

So we're just incredibly unlucky. [ Which sounds about right. He does manage to find the book since it sticks out due to the lack of dust. ]

This is on anatomy. I wanted to know the best ways to examine corpses, but it didn't tell me too much. [ He shrugs and hands it to her. ] You want to be our next doctor?

A doctor? I'm hardly qualified for that title - I haven't anything like the amount of training required for it.

[but if her expression says anything, she definitely daydreamed about it for a second there.]
