WEEK 6 - Trial

the pygmalion. . .

ONLINE

CAPTAIN'S LOG:
WEEK (6)

saturday TRIAL DAY ONE

(29) survivors

At 9 AM, a klaxon alarm begins blaring in every area of the ship. The alarm will continue to go off until everyone has gathered in the conference room. Should anyone be running late or avoiding the trial for whatever reason, a robot guide will appear wherever they are and gently but firmly escort them into the room. Once all the living players are present, the conference room doors will lock shut; anyone who wishes to leave for whatever reason will need to ask AL-2955 or one of the robots. Anyone leaving for non-investigative purposes, such as bathroom breaks, will be accompanied by a robot escort.

The large round table in the center of the conference room has been set up to help the trial run as smoothly as possible. Three holographic screens hover above the center hollow of the table, visible from every angle. The first screen displays the pictures and profiles of the suspects and victim; the second displays the autopsy report; the third displays a blank word processor. Each of the chairs comes equipped with a virtual keyboard which can be used to type information directly into the third screen, such as theories and updated information; they can also be set into privacy mode, which will transfer whatever notes someone writes directly into their datapad instead of on screen. There's also a tablet function for those who wish to draw charts or pictures on screen. The keyboards will detect the DNA of whoever's using them and record who's typed what - simply press an area of text and the name of whoever wrote it will pop up.

The area to the right of the table has been temporarily sectioned off with a glass partition and sliding door for hygienic issues. Inside, the victim's body has been laid out on a metal autopsy table, covered by a plastic sheet. Above it is a holographic screen that displays a close-up color photograph of the body when it was found. A hand sanitizer dispenser has been considerately attached to the wall nearby for anyone getting up close and personal to the body.

To the left of the conference table is a display case. Any evidence found during the investigation will be carefully collected by the robots at some point the previous day and placed here before the trial starts. Beneath each piece of evidence is a small tablet where players can type up information, such as a short description or where it was found. There are also empty areas left over for any evidence that may be found during the trial. The shelf at the very bottom of the case has been reserved for an extra rulebook in case anyone needs it.

Food will be served throughout the day by the robots, who will take individual orders whenever you're feeling hungry. The trial will end at 9:00 PM, at which point all players will have been expected to cast their vote.

That's right we do. And even though this is Elizabeth's room, we have to be thorough so people don't blame us for not doing our job.

[Up the ladder and into the room! Probably over to the...let's start with the desk area.]

This is going to be a pain.

[non-kittified adrien calls dibs on the bed, by which i mean, is heading over to check that out. aLSO IS THERE ANYTHING ON THE DOORFRAME]

I know. ... Elizabeth is--was close with Hancock, right?

[ The first thing you chucklefucks should notice is that Hancock's hat is sitting on the desk. It does have some blood stain but it was because she took it from the murder scene. :( sad face.

The desk has nothing out of the ordinary but a pen and a half eaten hot pocket! But on the bed, there's nothing out of the ordinary. If anything you find her embarrassing letters to Booker. Some of the people on the ship are mentioned! Jessie and Fiona are mentioned for being cool women to aspire to be like, Hancock for her closest friends, Jason for being insufferable but her heart quickens around him and many others... Honorable mention go Jack, Adelina and Frankenstein.

ALSO NOTHING ON THE DOORWAy ]

She thinks I'm cool.

[Jessie is a little proud of that.]

I'd say so. She has his hat right here.

[Might as well look the hat over. Any evidence here? Jessie honestly couldn't stand Hancock, not since he voted for her during the first trial, but that doesn't mean that he should've been gunned down.

When she's done with the papers, she'll move onto the closet...or the clothes thing...or whatever.]

Adrien, who do you think is responsible?

[well, since the bed is BORING and LAME and there is nothing in the shelves next to that either, it's time for Adrien to check the bathroom!!!! because i have forgotten what else is in rooms right now!!!!]

You are pretty cool. [it's said as a joke, but he means it :c he's kind of... sighing as that question] I'm not sure. I know Clover and monsieur Frankenstein didn't do it, and if you say Elizabeth didn't, I believe you. For the last two... Jack's talked about murder... a lot, and he knows guns. And not going to the medbay after being stabbed is a bit--weird.

[ Jessie, you are very cool to her.

There's nothing out of the ordinary. Her bed was a little messy and and the desk looked as if it hadn't been taken care of since she ate at it.

If Jessie wants to check the closet, she'll find a blood-stained -

just kidding. There's only beautiful clothes to admire. Also, the hat was just really irradiated because Hancock had like +40 rads on him, man.

Adrien, you want to go to the bathroom??? There's just hair brushes and her bath tub has some hair in the drain. Nothing abnormal. ]

i already had the tag written but then zia left because of me

Of course I am! If only more people realized that and joined Team Rocket, the world would be a much better place.

[JESSIE IS. Sort of against Adrien looking through Liz's bathroom (really, that should be a private place), and what if he sniffs all of her soaps and shampoos? So since Adrien is going to bed Jessie will go in there, too??? ?? ??

But before that, she's looking at the clothes, admiring some of these outfits. It's been a while since she's been in here, Elizabeth has such nice clothes.]

The problem I'm having is that I don't think it's worth the risk to be at the medbay to make yourself an alibi, and that's where Fumi, Jack, and Clover were, which would leave Frankenstein, and...me with a giant headache.

[She delivers the entire sentence as a run-on, just like that, because it's a scattered thought. What IS going on here?]

[ At this point, Elizabeth's room looks like any others! The bathroom just hosts a bunch of rags and towels - but not much else. Please admire her clothes while you can. ]
