saturday TRIAL DAY ONE (29) survivors At 9 AM, a klaxon alarm begins blaring in every area of the ship. The alarm will continue to go off until everyone has gathered in the conference room. Should anyone be running late or avoiding the trial for whatever reason, a robot guide will appear wherever they are and gently but firmly escort them into the room. Once all the living players are present, the conference room doors will lock shut; anyone who wishes to leave for whatever reason will need to ask AL-2955 or one of the robots. Anyone leaving for non-investigative purposes, such as bathroom breaks, will be accompanied by a robot escort. The large round table in the center of the conference room has been set up to help the trial run as smoothly as possible. Three holographic screens hover above the center hollow of the table, visible from every angle. The first screen displays the pictures and profiles of the suspects and victim; the second displays the autopsy report; the third displays a blank word processor. Each of the chairs comes equipped with a virtual keyboard which can be used to type information directly into the third screen, such as theories and updated information; they can also be set into privacy mode, which will transfer whatever notes someone writes directly into their datapad instead of on screen. There's also a tablet function for those who wish to draw charts or pictures on screen. The keyboards will detect the DNA of whoever's using them and record who's typed what - simply press an area of text and the name of whoever wrote it will pop up. The area to the right of the table has been temporarily sectioned off with a glass partition and sliding door for hygienic issues. Inside, the victim's body has been laid out on a metal autopsy table, covered by a plastic sheet. Above it is a holographic screen that displays a close-up color photograph of the body when it was found. A hand sanitizer dispenser has been considerately attached to the wall nearby for anyone getting up close and personal to the body. To the left of the conference table is a display case. Any evidence found during the investigation will be carefully collected by the robots at some point the previous day and placed here before the trial starts. Beneath each piece of evidence is a small tablet where players can type up information, such as a short description or where it was found. There are also empty areas left over for any evidence that may be found during the trial. The shelf at the very bottom of the case has been reserved for an extra rulebook in case anyone needs it. Food will be served throughout the day by the robots, who will take individual orders whenever you're feeling hungry. The trial will end at 9:00 PM, at which point all players will have been expected to cast their vote.

..... He, er, was.... when I met him, he was.... doing something inappropriate. [really, it could be either of them. Ladybug will never forget master dong toucher or strip tease man, that's for sure. She does take the opportunity to take a better look at the wine glasses.]

Yes, she mentioned that in her alibi. But would they really have drank together? [somehow she can't picture Elizabeth doing it, but she did swear because of Hancock, so!!] I should ask her about it....

[From glancing at the wine bottle and glasses, one thing stands out: one glass is empty, with trace amounts of wine inside it. The other glass is half-full with water in it.

The will is still at his bed, and isn't any different from before.]

Don't know. Anything's possible. Maybe Elizabeth's a total party animal and we just don't know about it.

[Thank goodness the will is in the same spot where they found it last time. He'll be skimming over it again just in case, but since nothing seems to have changed, he'll fold it back up and turn to Marinette. It looks like she's already taking a better look at the glasses, so—]

Notice anything interesting?

Maybe not. One glass has water and the one with wine is empty. [She checks the wine bottle, swirling it around and peering inside of it]

Other than that, not much. You?

[The bottle is a rather old brand from the 1940s judging by the label, its cork on the table beside it. It's still very much full despite being opened.]

Ah. So Hancock had a modest glass of water and Elizabeth drank the other glass dry. Good to know.

[He's kidding!!! Obviously. But he'll give the room another glance to make sure nothing has really changed. Anything new in his good friend, the trash can?]

Just his will. But that was here last week. He wrote something for you and your boyfriend, by the way.

[Is it the same wine as in the glass? Ladybug's going to compare it to the wine and the bottles on the ground]

He's.....

[Ladybug's just going to ignore that bit and focus on the message]

What do you mean? What did he write?

[There's nothing of note in the trash can, but feel free to visit it any time you like Jason.

The wine matches the liquid in the drinking glass. However the bottle is distinctly different from the ones on the ground, which are whiskey and vodka brands.]

[The trashcan is his soulmate. He'll visit it every day.]

Just that you two are now obligated to name your firstborn after him. [A BEAT.] I'm kidding. That was a joke. Take a look for yourself.

[He'll show her the second page of Hancock's will, tapping his finger over the spot where Marinette and Adrien are mentioned. Elizabeth's part is also folded out of view because Jason Todd is a nosy asshole, but that doesn't mean anybody else should be!!

That said, what's so different about that bottle anyway?]

Hancock, apparently. Kind of a shame he won't be there to attend the wedding, huh?

[BUT IF THERE'S NO MORE TEASING TO BE DONE, he'll fold the will back up and pocket it. Time to give this place one last look over just in case. Anything weird about that bottle? Or in the bathroom, desk, drawers or closet?]

[Looks like an ordinary bottle. Nothing to note in the bathroom, closet, desk or drawers. The only real major difference Jason can see between last week and this week is what is on the desk.]

[Ladybug does a quick sweep of the room and makes a last stop at the desk again to compare the alcohol in the empty glass to the bottles but if there's nothing else of note then they're probably done]

[The alcohol traces in the drinking glass only match up to the vintage wine bottle on Hancock's desk.]
