WEEK 6 - Investigation
| the pygmalion. . . ONLINE ![]() CAPTAIN'S LOG: WEEK (6) |
friday (?) survivors ![]() Friday comes, and with it, another alarm. At 10:00 AM, a chaotic, dark song plays, more explicitly sinister in tone than previous alarms. As usual, it refuses to stop until you exit your room. The atmosphere seems to change as soon as you open your door, as if you have been left out of something cataclysmic; you feel compelled to explore. Tentatively, you leave your safe haven. taken list profiles setting rulebook ENTER COMMAND_ |

11?? ish???? and on, viewport
Frankenstein and/or Machias are probably hovering in the vicinity at least until someone better equipped to deal with teenage girl feelings shows up, but here's Clover, curled into the side of one couch, arms wrapped around herself, bandaged with strips of fabric, and absolutely covered in blood still.
But. She's alive. It might not be easy to tell, she's so still, so completely quiet—but she's alive.
She won't be moving until someone moves her, so if anyone needs the surviving Field today, she probably won't be hard to find.]

Nevermind the fact he had the propensity to linger in the viewport himself-- and yet, from whence he stepped into the area he could spot her current state. The air of despair and grief was almost palpable, as the feelings behind the pink-haired woman's purposeful still state did not escape him.
The Eldarian warrior does not bother presenting forth an inquiry of Are you alright?. After all, that would be useless when it was apparent -- her state. }
Clover. You did not have the chance to obtain another set of clothing?

Ev-everything... [Her voice shouldn't be so quiet, shouldn't shake so fiercely; there's none of her usual pep or feist at all.] ...all my stuff is...is in Light's room...
[They're handprint locked. There's no way for her to get in.]

It may not comfort you much, but I will see to making sure your items are obtained.
{ He does not know how to offer words of comfort for loss so he focuses on something more practical; if anything he vaguely hopes that someone could do so in his place. }

Shelley approaches with a glass of juice]
Clover, uuuh...here. You should drink something...
[She's fully expecting a rejection]

...It's fine. [She struggles just to speak loudly enough to be heard; Shelley's going to have to focus.] I don't need anything.

He makes sure not to sneak up on her, arriving from the front, and kneels in front of her, putting a tentative hand on her knee.]
Hey. I... Marinette lent me a change of clothes for you, if you want it. [well that's not what he meant to say first, though it's true, but he realized he was halfway through saying "I'm sorry" and that never helped him, so it definitely won't help Clover. he can blame himself on his own time!!] We can get you cleaned up and ... you can stay with us tonight, if you want. My room's always open to you.
[it's an offer because he doesn't want to force her, and it's "us" because Marinette immediately agreed, but he's also not going to let her hang out on the couch forever either]
no subject
Right. I.... I can help you clean up a little bit, and I have a lot of clothes you can wear..
no subject
But even if she can't find it in her to admit it, and even if she would just hang out on the couch forever if no one stopped her, she doesn't want to be alone.]
...I...I'd... [It takes so much effort just to speak that she can barely manage to even be heard. She sniffs, takes a slow breath in.] ...I'd really like a change of clothes.
[That's about as much as she can manage as far as asking for help goes.]
no subject
[physically, at least, because adrien has no clue what to do about her emotional state]
no subject
[But Marinette's also going to help steady her when/if she climbs to her feet.]
--Right. Whatever you need, we're here for you.
