WEEK 6 - Investigation

the pygmalion. . .

ONLINE

CAPTAIN'S LOG:
WEEK (6)

friday

(?) survivors

Friday comes, and with it, another alarm. At 10:00 AM, a chaotic, dark song plays, more explicitly sinister in tone than previous alarms. As usual, it refuses to stop until you exit your room. The atmosphere seems to change as soon as you open your door, as if you have been left out of something cataclysmic; you feel compelled to explore.

Tentatively, you leave your safe haven.

{ Arumat's eyes are focused upon her person, only as need be by what was dictated due to status quo, although also in a more subtle, observational manner to make sure he was ready to act should her injuries encumber her unto unconsciousness. Luckily, this does not seem to be the case for now. }

It may not comfort you much, but I will see to making sure your items are obtained.

{ He does not know how to offer words of comfort for loss so he focuses on something more practical; if anything he vaguely hopes that someone could do so in his place. }

[The words don't really mean anything right now when she's still swallowed up by grief. They might when there's something tangible to go with them, when she sees that he's brought everything—right now, she can't imagine why he would bother, she can't see anything in the world worth the effort because her brother is gone, so what does anything else matter?—but the way she nods now without her expression changing at all makes it clear that the words are just air to her right now.]
