WEEK 6

the pygmalion. . .

ONLINE

CAPTAIN'S LOG:
WEEK (6)

monday - thursday

(31) survivors

Sunday's trial was only mere hours ago, but you find yourself faced with a new week on The Pygmalion. When you awaken, you will find the ship restored to its previous state, all areas interfered with during the murder looking mostly the same as they did before. Along with this, it appears there are new areas opened on the ship. It seems you have more exploring to do. The robot in the cafeteria has prepared another breakfast of various foods.

(OOC: Please submit your murder proposals by 9 PM EST Tuesday.)

[ Unless, of course, you wore cowboy hats. Maybe that's why he was somewhat decent(ish), relatively speaking to Fiona. Or maybe just why she got a high rating, unbeknownst to her. ]

[ Jack makes a noise of interest, then takes a half-step closer so that he can nudge the bag with his foot to get it to open a bit more. He can see the random disposables, but surely it's not just that. Though, then again, as he realizes his disappointment at realizing it is indeed just that, he also withdraws, since this is starting to feel like the thoughts of a certain explosions-obsessed competitor. ]

Y'know, it occurs to be, this ship is pretty obviously built to encourage casual murder, least so far as I see it, but this one in particular? This one is annoying.

[ Jack laughs as he looks back to the incinerator. ]

Maybe not this week, but eventually, would definitely bet money that we're going to be pulling someone outta here. Or, y'know, their ashes if we really suck.

I mean, a garden full of mostly toxic plants and a medical bay full of drugs that cause more death than healing? Yeah, I think just about everything on this ship has at least some backhanded murderous purpose. But at least this is useful. Otherwise we'd have six weeks of slop piling up in the cafeteria, and I don't particularly want to eat around a mound of discarded cream corn.

[ she eyes the incinerator again, though, contemplating it. surely everyone thought 'oh shit' as soon as they saw it, but what jack just said.. that makes her even more worried. ]

Someone could use this thing for a murder and we may never even know. It'd leave no trace, besides some cigarette droppings. That'd be pretty bad for us. [ she's starting to wish she had a cigarette now. ] We're going to have to start considering this for every murder that happens. It's a game changer.

[ Jack nods in agreement ]

You got it. Kind of gonna be pissed if we end up with another disappearing body, since, weirdly, these people really want you to prove shit, and best way to do that ends up being the corpse, every time.

[ He seems to consider something for a moment, but then exhales a short laugh ]

Y'think if I asked nicely, Al would turn it off? Or, hell, just turn it off when we know people are really feeling like killing people. Which, can't believe I'm advocating to not murder people, but proving it is a huge pain in the ass.
