It's a long story. One of those weird things that happen in my life happened, and I found myself getting told I had to fight my worst fear in order to survive. So I went forward, and there was another version of me. I think it was my dark half, or something like that.

[Half-truths abound! Shelley figured Adelina wouldn't really take it very well to hear that it was actually Shelley getting out of the afterlife after she was murdered...for the second time in a few years...and that it was either defeating that worst fear or having her soul erased, kinda.

...to be honest...I don't know. It just happened, and I don't really understand yet why that was my fear. I suppose there are dark sides of me I don't know about yet...or something like that. It's weird.

I don't think that's true. Everyone has negative qualities, but I would hardly think any part of you could be described as dark.
