WEEK 6
| the pygmalion. . . ONLINE ![]() CAPTAIN'S LOG: WEEK (6) |
monday - thursday (31) survivors ![]() Sunday's trial was only mere hours ago, but you find yourself faced with a new week on The Pygmalion. When you awaken, you will find the ship restored to its previous state, all areas interfered with during the murder looking mostly the same as they did before. Along with this, it appears there are new areas opened on the ship. It seems you have more exploring to do. The robot in the cafeteria has prepared another breakfast of various foods. [ It's therapeutic, she thinks. It's one of the few things that's calming her down. She's had her fair share of waking up, sobbing to herself for an hour or so, and trying to ignore the visions plaguing her mind. Elizabeth is naive enough to venture alone to the art supply room, to gather the brushes needed and the paints for an idea - one that started at first with prepping the canvas tarp to hang loosely in the hallway where their bedrooms are located. By the time Elizabeth preps her paint and gets started, there's a smaller piece of paper with a clear outline of a city sketched onto it. Guess what she's going to paint? ]
wednesday night
[ Later on, Elizabeth is further down the road in her painting. It's around 1/3rd done - the highlights of the glow from the Eiffel Tower. Elizabeth is covered in paint - smudges on her nose, clothing, and she's finally going to start calling it a night. She stops, standing on her tip-toes and beginning to paint stars - beautiful and inaccurate, but still stars. From dots to specks to large outlined shapes, Elizabeth is focused on space. She's focused on panning the sky as if she had a burst of creative energy. ]
Wednesday Night
[Looks like you have impressed Shelley! Okay, she's easy to impress, but that doesn't mean you aren't doing a great job painting this!]

[ She murmurs to herself, swearing that the previous one was last before she laid down! Her focus had obviously been capturing the tower in the distance, as it is the most clearly defined piece, but... the stars were a nice touch. She rolls her weight back onto her heels as she looks to Shelley, smiling a bit bashfully. ]
Oh - hi, Shelley! Thank you, I figure it's time to start adding some life and... I just really wanted to paint again.

[At least that's what the shape of the tower highlights seem to indicate]

Is that-- Paris?
[there's enough weird alternate world that he has to ask, (and he says it 100% with the french accent for it because Of Course), though even the possibility is enough to make him look a bit like an excited puppy at the prospect]

[ Adrien don't cry. ]

Yeah, it's beautiful. [/biased. but, uh] Your interests?
no subject
[ Clearing her throat, she tries to actually explain herself. ]
Paris holds a special place in my heart as well. I've never been... but it's one of my biggest dreams to go!
[ LOOK HOW MUCH SHE LIGHTS UP THINKING ABOUT IT!!! GAUGHHHHH! ]

It's a great place. Hopefully, once this is over, we could show you around. [he looks back at the mural] You've captured it pretty well already, though! This is amazing.

wednesday night
Well. It's much cheerier in here already, isn't it? Magnificent work.

[Stepping back to admire it a little.]
Is this your home?
no subject
It's Paris - Miss Marinette and Monsieur Adrien are from here, from what I recall. I've read about it - dreamed about it - since I was little... I was on my way before... ah.. this whole mess.
wednesday afternoon
Really. You're gonna do arts and crafts smackdab in the middle of the hallway?

[ Elizabeth snaps back, pointing her paintbrush accusingly. Luckily for him, her paint brush didn't splatter the dark blue paint onto him. ]
It's keeping my mind off things. If I'm to be alone with my thoughts, I might as well be productive.

[Let's be real, if the brush splattered him with paint he would have totally deserved it.]
What are you going to do with this once you're done, anyway? Not leave it out in the hallway, I hope. I don't think I need to remind you what happens on the whiteboard every week.
[Dongs. There are going to be dongs.]

[ She's doubting herself though, looking between the paper, the canvas and Jason. ]
I wish I could say this was for the greater good of the ship, but it's my own selfish therapy as well. I wanted to paint this and I guess until it's ruined, it'll stay.
no subject
[Not to mention, all the kleptomaniacs stealing things left and right. There's no room for respect anywhere.]
Pfft— it should stay even after it's ruined. Give people something to gander at that doesn't look like it was ripped off a low budget sci-fi movie.
wednesday afternoon
Hey, Elizabeth. Do you want any help? This is a cute idea.
no subject
Oh, you paint!? [ DO YOU. FIONA... DO YOU? ]
no subject
[ or at least impersonated lots of different types of people. ]
I'm a quick learner. I can pick up fast!
no subject
[ She bends down to pick up a brush. ]
I don't mind teaching.
