WEEK 6

the pygmalion. . .

ONLINE

CAPTAIN'S LOG:
WEEK (6)

monday - thursday

(31) survivors

Sunday's trial was only mere hours ago, but you find yourself faced with a new week on The Pygmalion. When you awaken, you will find the ship restored to its previous state, all areas interfered with during the murder looking mostly the same as they did before. Along with this, it appears there are new areas opened on the ship. It seems you have more exploring to do. The robot in the cafeteria has prepared another breakfast of various foods.

(OOC: Please submit your murder proposals by 9 PM EST Tuesday.)

[Admiring her drawing! She really did get the cheekbones.]

I didn't know you were so the artist.
tacklefordwhimsy: That one has amazing pecs (Those are some impressive worms)

I am! Kinda. It's what happens when one lives with someone who studied art.

[Shelley puts the sketchbook aside. She has intended to ask it for quite some time already, but every week something weird happens and the time isn't right. Who knows what'll happen in the future, may as well do it now!]

Ssssooooooo...Dorian...I know this isn't the best place to ask it, buuuut... [Goodness, she's nervous] ...I was wondering if you'd like to go with me in a date once we're out of here, oooor...or while we're still here...

[Oh. Awkward. At least he knows she most likely missed all the commotion at the trial, which makes him feel better. Still, he's pretty used to fielding interest from people he has no intention of dating, so he smiles.]

Lucky me, though I do wonder what constitutes a date on a spaceship. Candlelit meal besides the air lock, perhaps? I don't see how I can resist.

Though I suppose I ought to confess that I don't typically date women, even especially lovely women such as yourself.
tacklefordwhimsy: Otherwise we're screwed (Let's hope for a deal)

[There's a perfectly nice garden, Dorian, if there had been a candlelit meal it'd be there, hopefully without setting anything on fire in the process.

But it seems it won't happen. 'I don't typically date women', huh...Shelley looks away. Welp]

Oh. Ooooh...I see. Right. Y-you don't have to force yourself into a date, it's fine.

[One more romantic failure for Shelley Winters. Oh well]

At least friendship is on the table, I guess.

I would never dream of it, spending time with you in any capacity is a pleasure. Friendship is always on the table, particularly if you're going to make me look so good when you sketch me.

[No, he honestly feels kind of bad; she's sweet, and he didn't know she was interested in him (beyond the obvious interest anyone would have). But it doesn't show, since in his experience that only makes it more embarrassing for all involved.]
tacklefordwhimsy: Want to be a whistleblower? (Just asking!)

[At least Dorian has a way of letting down gently. This isn't the end of the world. Shelley takes the sketchbook and flips to a blank page]

Here! Let's seal the deal with you showing me your drawing skills.

I'm afraid I'm no artist. [But he'll take the pencil and try sketching a heavily stylized dragon, though it's rough.] Will that suffice?
