WEEK 6

the pygmalion. . .

ONLINE

CAPTAIN'S LOG:
WEEK (6)

monday - thursday

(31) survivors

Sunday's trial was only mere hours ago, but you find yourself faced with a new week on The Pygmalion. When you awaken, you will find the ship restored to its previous state, all areas interfered with during the murder looking mostly the same as they did before. Along with this, it appears there are new areas opened on the ship. It seems you have more exploring to do. The robot in the cafeteria has prepared another breakfast of various foods.

(OOC: Please submit your murder proposals by 9 PM EST Tuesday.)

Don't tell me you got stuck!

[Come on, what are you waiting for? Don't make her go have to get you out herself! She isn't in good mood]>/small>
chiseler: (gonna seize the day)

[personal profile] chiseler 2016-07-13 05:15 am (UTC)(link)
[Another pause...and then:]

Have you seen Adrien? I don't think he's big enough to get stuck in here even if he tried.
tacklefordwhimsy: Portugal did you no good at all (Stop being such a jerk)

[personal profile] tacklefordwhimsy 2016-07-13 03:07 pm (UTC)(link)
[Okay, that didn't sound like Adrien. She doesn't recognize the voice, it is a bit distorted from sounding from inside the vents]

I didn't think anyone else would be the type to spend time inside the vents. I mean, who else would?

[If not Adrien then maybe...uuuuh...Rhys? Yeah, Rhys. Maybe. She really doesn't feel like seeing Rhys, so she slowly starts to inch away towards the doorway]
chiseler: (living a cliche)

[personal profile] chiseler 2016-07-13 03:53 pm (UTC)(link)
[To let her go, or keep her here...decisions, decisions...]

I think I'm more curious why you'd think Adrien would. Normal cats usually don't stay in vents, do they? [There's a light chuckle following.] Just do me a favor and don't mention you heard anything, okay, Shelley? [Well it's obviously someone who knows her, at least.]
tacklefordwhimsy: That's what you get for getting him laid (I recommend you seek protection)

[personal profile] tacklefordwhimsy 2016-07-13 04:59 pm (UTC)(link)
They do. They spent their time in vents all the time. I have seen it.

[By now everyone must know her, dear! But there's a lack of cussing and vomit, so maybe it wasn't Rhys. Still...]

Okay, I won't mention you're up there! But are you okay? People don't usually hide in vents. It's worrying, so if you need help or anything...

[The offer is there]
chiseler: (are we all too young to die?)

[personal profile] chiseler 2016-07-13 06:38 pm (UTC)(link)
[....wait. Okay, fine, the latch to the vent door opens and Luke sticks his head out to give her a skeptical look.]

Wait do they really spend time in vents? I've never actually had a cat. [Why this is so important, who knows, but hi Shelley. Are you at all surprised by this turn of events?]
tacklefordwhimsy: Carrion meals are troublesome (Ravens are a burden)

[personal profile] tacklefordwhimsy 2016-07-13 06:59 pm (UTC)(link)
[Look, if she had to write a list of people likely to lounge around in the vents, Luke wouldn't have been in there. She stares for a moment before findings words]

Uuuuh...y-yeah! They do. Cats are all about narrow and dark spaces. It's that simple.

[...should she ask...oh, you know what, she will]

Did you lose something up there, Luke? I didn't think you'd be the type to sneak into the vents for fun and leisure.
chiseler: (well it's all because of me)

[personal profile] chiseler 2016-07-13 07:18 pm (UTC)(link)
[Considering that "my mind" probably isn't an acceptable answer, he simply grins and shrugs. He's not far enough out of the vent that he's at the risk of falling but he's out enough to have a conversation with her.]

It started out with making a map believe it or not, but this is actually pretty comfortable once you shift around enough. [Is he serious, is he not, it's a mystery…] Besides we've got nothing else to do this week, do we?
tacklefordwhimsy: Think local, not global (That was unfortunate)

[personal profile] tacklefordwhimsy 2016-07-13 07:50 pm (UTC)(link)
I guess not. The new places are surprisingly devoid of new stuff to do.

[It doesn't seem Luke is crying in the vent or trying to stay there for the rest of his life, so Shelley relaxes a bit]

Hey! Since you're up there, is there a chance of getting into some room we can't all go into yet?

chiseler: (breaking in a sweat)

[personal profile] chiseler 2016-07-13 11:49 pm (UTC)(link)
They've probably stopped catering to us for a while so that we appreciate whatever comes next. [He appears thoughtful for a moment.]

But I think that depends on where you wanna go. Not all of the rooms have vent openings, I think. Got something in mind?
tacklefordwhimsy: Tell me all your secrets (So how about them bioweapons)

[personal profile] tacklefordwhimsy 2016-07-14 12:42 am (UTC)(link)
New decks. It's possible there are other decks yet to be opened, and of course those would need to be ventilated.

[After all, a whole new deck was opened like three weeks ago, didn't it? There could be more!]
chiseler: (well it's all because of me)

[personal profile] chiseler 2016-07-14 01:20 am (UTC)(link)
You haven't seen the inside of these things have you? I dunno about you, but being really dusty doesn't seem to inspire much in the way of ventilation. [But she has a point.] Some of us were starting to make a map. Haven't found any new decks yet. Think they'd be further up or something even lower than bottom deck?
tacklefordwhimsy: It is not very attractive (Did you know you are going bald?)

[personal profile] tacklefordwhimsy 2016-07-14 03:03 am (UTC)(link)
Luke, maybe you would never guess, but I'm not someone who has interest in sneaking around inside the ventilation system, so no. I haven't seen how it's in there.

[Have a smirk! Can you really imagine her doing that, Luke? Can you?]

Hmmm...since in one of the new rooms there's a ramp to descend the ship I suppose it'd be logical to find something new further up? I don't really know much about spaceships, but it seems logical to me.
chiseler: (like a bomb threat)

[personal profile] chiseler 2016-07-14 04:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Good point. [No, he's probably one of the few people crazy enough to do that. He listens thoughtfully, hands knocking lightly on the sides of the vent he's in.] I don't know much about spaceships either, but if I find a ramp in the vents heading up I'll let you know. Getting in here was a straight shot up for a couple of feet. It'll probably be something like that.
