[bloodbiter]

[once she knows she won't immediately be dragged out by robots for spending too long in her room, she's heading back that way in a hurry - which is why she rounds a corner and runs straight into him pretty hard. oops, down she goes.]

I'm so sorry - are you alright?

[chiseler]

[She goes down and the compact flies out of Luke's hand when he jumps. To his credit, he's quick to swipe the mirror before he turns, crouched down to be just above her.]

Man, I should be asking you that. My bad. [...awkwardly extending a hand to help her up? Ignore that his other hand is still holding that compact.]

[bloodbiter]

[she accepts his hand, though she does shake her head as she stands]

I was not paying attention to what laid before me. The fault is mine.

[glancing at that mirror...]

How are you faring?

[chiseler]

I think a lot of us aren't paying as good attention as usual. Pretty bad, isn't it? [Up to their feet they go. He looks over her to ensure she's not hurt before he shrugs slightly. Other than the slight bags under his eyes, he at least seems okay...other than his hand is clasped around that mirror and his eyes occasionally stray to look behind her.]

Still alive, aren't I? [A grin.] Just gotta get through the rest of the week, no big deal. ...how about you?

[bloodbiter]

I can firmly say that I am living as well.

[though she does glance behind her when she notices his gaze stray, a bit worried for a moment until she doesn't see anything there.]

...You're certain? About how you will be fine.

[chiseler]

I'm certain enough, Adelina. Don't really get much of an option here, considering. [He shrugs, forcing himself to look at her instead.] Should I be less certain?

[bloodbiter]

I'm sure there are multiple people who find themselves less than well given the circumstances we've all found ourselves in.

[she shakes her head, though]

If you are feeling normal, however, that is a relief.

[chiseler]

[...there's an awkward shrug following and he almost looks sheepish.] Yeah, well...pretty sure most people aren't used to dealing with nightmares or not sleeping. That seems to be the running pattern here this week, doesn't it?
