monday - thursday (31) survivors Sunday's trial was only mere hours ago, but you find yourself faced with a new week on The Pygmalion. When you awaken, you will find the ship restored to its previous state, all areas interfered with during the murder looking mostly the same as they did before. If you want. I'd be fine, you know-- cats always land on their feet. [he's not a furry right now but the principle stays] I had more dangerous equipment in my bedroom, anyway.

[he hums a little in thought, selecting Moon gravity before answering:] I don't know. Anything I've ever expressed any interest in, I guess. A zipline, a climbing wall, games, a basketball hoop, books, a skateboard ramp... [he stops because this is starting to get A Bit Much, so:] It's a cool room, don't get me wrong, but it's just... a room. Filled with what Father thought I wanted.

[he laughs at himself, shaking his head]

You do. It'd be impossible not to with that list of items-- and it even sounded like there may have been more you skipped over.

{ He could not fathom even himself as a captain having quarters those large-- simply because he had no need for superfluous items. }

[have you ever wanted to have a conversation with a kid bouncing around the room because they are using moon gravity? because he is doing that.

My father's... [there's a kind of hesitation as he tries to word himself without complaining, as he usually does when speaking of his dad:] I think he believed if he gave me what I "wanted", I'd be content with what he wanted of me. And-- [he kicks off again] And for the most part, I don't mind doing what he wants? But what I really wanted was to be like everyone else. Just... be able to get out, to meet people and make friends.

He can be... stubborn. [he's jumping up again, up up and away from this conversation] He agreed to let me go to school this year, though. That's been fun.

Hm, that's something. How fun is your 'school'? Did he send you to one that makes it easier for you to 'make friends'?

How do you make that sound so condescending? [but he seems more amused than annoyed when he's back down] It's the one closest to my house... But it's been pretty great so far. I've met a lot of people... including Marinette. She's one of my classmates.

{ Arumat sucks at social skills, as usual, and if anything he expects Adrien to be angry...so it is a bit of a surprise when he isn't. Then again, Adrien's a kid and everything. }

So that's why you two know each other well. When we leave, you should be able to resume making friends easily enough.

{ As far as Arumat could tell, everyone on the ship liked Adrien, so. }

{ Arumat needs to stop being tsun and admit he cares and yes he was trying to reassure the kid. But no he goes the hardass route instead. }
