Well, I did say try. I'd rather not wait for them to take a week to concoct some ridiculously elaborate plan only for it to backfire because they didn't take proper precautions.

If it backfired embarrassingly enough for their attempted murder to fail, everyone could be alerted of their intentions by your word and the would-be killer disgraced appropriately.
