[he is missing out, the story is hilarious. Adrien's face literally lights up at Luke agreeing, like he's been told there's three christmases instead of "sure you can meet my friends someday maybe"]

Nino's great. He's the first real friend I made when I finally went to school this year. [here's adrien not... counting... his childhood friend because. @ chloe stop being yourself] He's fun and nice and... he even stood up to my father for me once. [and it ended horribly but let's not. mention that.] He's really cool. Oh, and he's a DJ!

[adrien you sound like you're five, stop]

[This dumb child is so excited about his friends, this is actually awful. It's awful! He actually appears to be a little amused the longer Adrien rambles and he nods along, trying to figure out how a teenager can be a a DJ and maybe wondering how and why this person stood up to Adrien's dad before he realizes Adrien's stopped talking.]

Seems like you've got somebody pretty cool waiting for you back home. [A pause.] Does Marinette know him, too? You guys are from the same world aren't you? [Or they're just...weirdly close for reasons he doesn't quite get.]

[monsieurchatastrophe]

Oh, yeah, we're all in the same class in school. [a beat and then he rubs the back of his neck sheepishly] ... And... Marinette and I are superhero partners.

[chiseler]

[If he's surprised that Adrien's admitting it, he says nothing.]

Oh yeah? Never would have guessed. [It's a pretty dry statement. Of course they're partners.] Which means...what, that you two look out for each other no matter what? [Tell him how you really feel, dude. It'll mostly just be funny.

[monsieurchatastrophe]

It means we work together. So, sure? [ah. you're not getting anything juicy there.] She's good luck and I'm bad luck.

[chiseler]

[...well that part suddenly makes sense.] Ladybug and Black Cat. Seems pretty literal. But...how did you two even wind up being superheroes? [You're both young and run around in weirdly specific suits, did you just decide to do this or...] And aren't superheroes supposed to have secret identities or whatever?

[monsieurchatastrophe]

[CONSPICUOUSLY SKIPS THE FIRST QUESTION] We do back home, but with forty people here, I knew it was going to be a bit obvious. But my secret identity isn't more important than people's lives, so... [shrugs]

[chiseler]

[An echoing shrug.] Fair point. Kinda just makes you wonder what other secrets people are hiding here though. [He has a fair few himself.] And also makes you wonder how long we get before Alice exploits them.

[monsieurchatastrophe]

[Adrien has a secret literally in his pocket right now, so he just laughs a bit awkwardly] That's... People can't have that many secrets left to exploit, considering all the stuff she put on the profile cards.

[chiseler]

[Poor Plagg...] You'd think that, but maybe there're some things even the AI doesn't know. That's the other question I want to ask her. Why she chose to put what she put on the profiles. [A smirk.] There's definitely some stuff she missed.

[monsieurchatastrophe]

Yeah, some people definitely had more than others. [his list is so long, luke. it is so long, and at least half embarrassing.] Maybe it's got to do with her weird sense of humor?

[chiseler]

[Dude, do you really want to compare lists of secrets? Even when Adrien says that he settles for his own version of an awkward grin, enough to make his scar scrunch up just a bit and try to appear non-threatening.]

And here I thought machines couldn't even have a sense of humor. What I wanna know is where she's storing the rest of her information. Think about it. If we'd known exactly how Lavi's hammer worked…maybe we would have solved that case a lot faster. Stuff like that. Why withhold stuff like that that could be also be used against us?

[monsieurchatastrophe]

[he was talking about the profile list but listen secret wise he can't top secret demi-god let's all be real.]

She's said things that she called... "jokes", before. [bad ones, but.] Maybe it wasn't on his profile because it was about his hammer? Everyone's information seems to be about their own skills, nothing about what their items can do.

[chiseler]

[It's official. Alice is kind of a dumbass, too.]

Maybe. That'd explain a lot, like why Backbiter's listed as just as sword and why we have no idea what a miraculous ring is. [Ahem.] But you don't think she and whoever else involved knows? [Yes, he's repeating himself, but that's because it's driving him insane.] I'm using this week that I'm "valued" or whatever to maybe get some answers.

[monsieurchatastrophe]

[he's surprisingly stiff at the mention of his ring, and blank faced when he answers:]

They know. I'm sure of it. [well. that's straightforward. he sighs] The things they know about everyone... it definitely includes anything we might be keeping from each other.

[chiseler]

[Hm. Things to investigate later…but it's concerning, and it makes him wonder if the AI is sharing this information with other people. Does anyone else on this ship know the things he's not telling anyone…?]

…how much do you wanna bet that's going to be a motive in the future, too? Kill, or have your biggest secrets exploited to the whole ship.

[monsieurchatastrophe]

...There's a chance. But there's no secret that should be worth anyone's life.

[he'd said as much earlier, but this time he's rubbing at his ring when he says it.]

[chiseler]

"Should" is the word we're using…but "would" is probably the one we need to be considering. [It's not even so much his demigod status. It's…everything else associated with it that he's wary about people learning about. He's eyeing that dagger again while Adrien's fixated on his ring, but he shakes his head.] Do me a favor and keep an eye out for stuff like that. It'll help in the long-run.

[monsieurchatastrophe]

Keep an eye out for... what? People's secrets?

[chiseler]

Yeah, that too, but I meant more things that could be used as potential motives. If we can predict these things we can be better prepared not to fall for them and it'll buy us more time. [Probably.]

[monsieurchatastrophe]

Like how she talked about nightmares last week but we haven't had them yet?

[what if alice recycles. what if]

[chiseler]

Yeah I still don't know how she was planning on doing that, unless it's like what Harold said with the frequency or whatever being manipulated in us. But exactly like that. We start thinking the way the AI thinks? We'll have a better chance of not falling to the motives.

[monsieurchatastrophe]

She could not be the one doing it. It might be whoever programmed her who has that kind of power. [adrien subscribes to a wizard did it, hard.] But I'll try to think of motives she could pull. She's basing herself off of literature a lot, so, maybe if we look through there there might be something.
