[Wednesday — Holding Cells, part 1]
[Did someone challenge her to do this? Does it matter? Starting in the early morning, Jessie can be found locked in one of the holding cells. She doesn't look annoyed. She doesn't look distressed. She looks bored (maybe even contemplative if you squint).
She's reading one of the tablets, and she's gotten some decent music to play. Anyone who stares too long will eventually get a stare, or maybe they'll follow one of the robots. She's still ordering food, she's just making them shove the items one by one through the bars.]
What are you staring at? Can't you tell a criminal mastermind is at work?
[Wednesday — Holding Cells, part 2]
[And once she's all alone in the room...well, that would be spoilers.
Surely, someone is hanging around outside the holding cells. And hopefully it's one of the people who made sure to see she was 100% locked in, because after spending those hours in the holding cells, Jessie leaves the room after unlocking the cell herself. It would be nicer if there was a crowd applauding her, but this'll do.
She walks out of the room with a smug sense of satisfaction written all over her face. This week has been rough, even moreso than usual because she's been thinking about her mother, but a little villainy practice has definitely put her back in the mood.]
Holding Cells 2
[Heeey there! It's surprising to see Jessie leaving the Holding Cells. What could she be doing in there? Shelley wonders, but refrains from going in]
no subject
[Should she be bragging about this?
...yes, yes. Definitely. Yes.]
It was only a matter of time before I discovered the secret, of course, but a thief never backs down from a challenge!
no subject
[Not bad, not bad!]
It's the kind of thing I wouldn't believe unless I saw it by myself.
no subject
[She says "pathetic," but there's warmth in her voice because she still likes Shelley. Probably.]
I'd show you myself, but some tricks are best kept up my own sleeve. You can ask anyone who came by in the morning, though. I was locked in tight.
[...
...and really, would anyone release her willingly.]
no subject
...
...I have no doubt I'd be able to escape a cell if I wanted, though.

[Shelley theatrically pretends to be hurt, but she can't hold the charade for long. She starts laughing]
I had never seen a confused reptile until that day! I felt so bad for Arbok, hahaha...
no subject
[Unless it comes back to bite them.]
But I feel bad for him, too, just like I feel bad for everyone on this blasted ship.
no subject
[In other words, he's like any other manipulative person]
It's not hard to see through him, but I think he's not a bad person.
no subject
[That honor goes to someone else. Probably Arumat smh.]
So, what do you think, Shelley? Who do you think are the bad people on this ship? Myself obviously included, of course.
no subject
[It takes a moment for her to think something]
It's weird, not many scream 'VILLAIN' to me. Rhys is pretty much the only one I can see being a bad guy, and that's only because he'd be the classic bumbling ineffectual bad guy.
It could be said you have the monopoly on villainy in this place.
no subject
[She shrugs!]
Kazuma is someone you should watch out for. He laughed when we discovered the bodies in the viewport. There's no way someone like that can be trusted.
no subject
[Shelley looks pretty surprised about that. Kazuma is a sweetheart! He laughed?]
...Kazuma is a sweet kid, I didn't know...he would be the type to laugh at that...
[Yeah, she's in turmoil over it. She trusts Kazuma a lot, after all, but it seems it wasn't inconditional trust]
no subject
[It's still a little horrifying to her. How could she forget something like that? As she recalls the entire situation, she seems a bit more distressed.]
I really wish someone else would find a body for a change.
no subject
It takes her a moment to reply]
It must be traumatizing...maybe you should avoid leaving your room this Friday. It can't be a coincidence someone is found dead that day. That way you won't find a body...

holding cells, pt. 1
... Criminal, yes. Mastermind? Not so much.
no subject
[Her retort is quick and loud. She goes from calmly reading something on her tablet to standing on two to feet so she can point angrily at Jason Todd. This has nothing to do with his dirty underwear, she'll never recover from that.]
I'm going to escape from this cell, you wait and see!
no subject
[DRYLY. Go find your chill again, Jessie. It must be in that cell somewhere... or maybe Arbok ate it? It's a mystery.]
Sure you will. Try to spread the word once you get out. Maybe you'll find somebody who cares.
no subject
[Aside from listing like all the necessary elements to be a criminal on her profile...and admitting to it...and carrying around a giant snake...and trashing his room.]
If you're just here to annoy me, go away! Why don't you go and bother Elizabeth, I've seen the cute messages you two seem so fond of.
no subject
[JESSIE HAS DONE MANY THINGS WRONG. But, look. At least he didn't refute the "beautiful lady" part. He doesn't roll like that.]
Because you're here, and Elizabeth is— I don't know. Somewhere. Dead, maybe. [SHUT UP??] She might be as nonexistent as those "cute" messages.
[... Why is he killing Elizabeth off for this conversation. Wow.]
no subject
[Team Rocket is seriously overpowered, so the insult just rolls right off of her.]
And don't you dare say Elizabeth is dead! If I weren't proving a point, I'd slap you myself! But don't think I didn't notice! I saw exactly what it was!
[She clears her throat.]
Little Elizabeth, so perfect, so sweet, she pours out all the alcohol she meets. But when I was dealing with your Mankey-sty [pigsty] of a room, I noticed she only turned on your sink and hid your bottles.
no subject
... Never mind that her rhyming skills are kind of impressive? What the actual fuck, Jessie.]
It's not my problem if she decided to go soft on me. I didn't ask her to hide them. She did that on her own. Anyone else, anyone smart would have poured those bottles down the drain.
[And the saga of throwing Elizabeth under the bus continues. This is not how you friendship, Jason Todd.]
1/2
[when Jessie dies she's leaving behind an episode summary of every ridiculous job she's pretended to have, okay?!]
