[Unless it comes back to bite them.]
But I feel bad for him, too, just like I feel bad for everyone on this blasted ship.
no subject
[In other words, he's like any other manipulative person]
It's not hard to see through him, but I think he's not a bad person.
no subject
[That honor goes to someone else. Probably Arumat smh.]
So, what do you think, Shelley? Who do you think are the bad people on this ship? Myself obviously included, of course.
no subject
[It takes a moment for her to think something]
It's weird, not many scream 'VILLAIN' to me. Rhys is pretty much the only one I can see being a bad guy, and that's only because he'd be the classic bumbling ineffectual bad guy.
It could be said you have the monopoly on villainy in this place.

[She shrugs!]
Kazuma is someone you should watch out for. He laughed when we discovered the bodies in the viewport. There's no way someone like that can be trusted.
no subject
[Shelley looks pretty surprised about that. Kazuma is a sweetheart! He laughed?]
...Kazuma is a sweet kid, I didn't know...he would be the type to laugh at that...
[Yeah, she's in turmoil over it. She trusts Kazuma a lot, after all, but it seems it wasn't inconditional trust]
no subject
[It's still a little horrifying to her. How could she forget something like that? As she recalls the entire situation, she seems a bit more distressed.]
I really wish someone else would find a body for a change.
no subject
It takes her a moment to reply]
It must be traumatizing...maybe you should avoid leaving your room this Friday. It can't be a coincidence someone is found dead that day. That way you won't find a body...

[she wants to help because she likes these people, pass it on]

We'd be doomed without you, I admit that! Maybe most of us are way too used to thinking like law-abiding citizens.
[Shelley manages to smirk]
Not that I have a clean record when it's about not breaking the law. It's just that I'm not used to do it very often.
[To be perfectly honest: Shelley would be a very good Team Rocket member]
no subject
[But what's this? A fellow criminal?]
You're a criminal? I find that a little hard to believe. What laws have you broken? Kidnapping? Theft? Unlawful imprisonment? Poaching? Go on, go on! I can't take the suspense of not knowing!
no subject
Well, not full-time criminal, but sometimes there's no other choice. Breaking-and-entering and theft is what I have done the most. [She starts enumerating] There was a mall, a friend's laboratory, a government-based laboratory...and I once tried to steal a space shuttle.
Those were the most memorable ones. There are a lot of other events, but they weren't as important as those.
[She also destroyed Atlantis in a war, which was undoubtedly against the law, but that was more of an accident. There's a pause while she hesitates to add, but since she's telling it all...]
...I once mugged a fast food place with a toy gun, but that was a dare. In hindsight I make a lot of stupid decisions when it's about dares.

[She might be a little jealous, but she has so many criminal exploits
Ishe can't remember them all, so there's bound to be something equally impressive.]Well, I once stole food from a Pokémon hospital and robbed the police of all of their trained Growlithe officers. [not successfully but she'll pretend] It looks like we've got robbing the government in common!
no subject
[But she didn't get away unpunished!
Space scientists have the same methods than preschool teachers, who'd have thought]
What do you do with all the Pokemon you steal, by the way?
no subject
[Jessie no that's only how you do it.
Their miscommunications are amazing, though, and her opinion of Shelley is clearly higher.]
We send them to my boss, of course. If we keep doing what we're doing, we'll be the head honchos of the organization in no time, and then we'll have all the luxuries we'd ever want.
no subject
[Not to doubt your capabilities, Jessie, but it'd be good to not to forget that]
