I definitely wouldn't have expected it, but I don't think it was a complete impossibility.

[ shadows definitely weren't people, but humans had died by taking their side - like strega's members. if it came to it, she might have had to kill them to stop them from hurting others.

the answer arc is also a thing, but it's not like she was alive (or canon) for it. ]

Yeah, I can understand that. I try not to focus on back home too much, either. [for example: paris is probably glowing. because it's on fire.] I'm sure we'll find our way back, though.
