I definitely wouldn't have expected it, but I don't think it was a complete impossibility.

[ shadows definitely weren't people, but humans had died by taking their side - like strega's members. if it came to it, she might have had to kill them to stop them from hurting others.

the answer arc is also a thing, but it's not like she was alive (or canon) for it. ]

Just as there's no such thing as a 100% possibility, one could argue that, in return, there's no such thing as 100% improbability. The proof is that key of yours.

It just feels kind of unreal. And if someone else got their hands on that key... Things could get bad.
