monday - thursday (33) survivors Sunday's trial was only mere hours ago, but you find yourself faced with a new week on The Pygmalion. When you awaken, you will find the ship restored to its previous state, all areas interfered with during the murder looking mostly the same as they did before. [When they enter the kitchen, they'll immediately see that someone prepared a beautifully presented feast for them! What a nice surprise. And oh look, they were even kind enough to paint the walls and floor red with blood.

The centerpiece of the feast is Todd Smith's head, which has been placed upright on a platter with an apple stuffed into his mouth. Next to it is a cutting board upon which his organs and intestines have been neatly piled, as if they were being prepped for chopping. Whoever set this scene appears to have already gotten started, as there's a small bowl of some sort of chopped meat beside the board.

There also seems to be a few things cooking on the stove....]

...he almost looks better that way. [PEOPLE ARE DEAD, LUKE. But he actually can't process what he's seeing because holy fuck about sums it up. With Roxy behind and Dave turning off the stove he's going to check the walls. Just how fresh is this blood? And he's also looking for any kind of weapon because what the hell was used to chop up A PERSON.]

[There's a large pot gently bubbling on the stove, which had been set to a low heat. If Dave opens the lid, he'll see that Todd's limbs have been shoved in forcefully and are now simmering in their own blood. Next to it is a frying pan upon which his eyes, fingers and tongue have been laid out in a resemblance to a pan of eggs and sausages. The stove beneath the pan is cold; it looks like this pan hasn't been cooked. There also seems to be something in the oven.

The blood's pretty fresh; while it's no longer wet, it hasn't dried completely yet either. It looks like there's a trail of it leading towards the wall. There aren't any weapons around aside from the usual kitchen knives and utensils, but all of those are clean and dry and where they belong; it doesn't look like any of them have been used super recently.]

[ LORD... if all the knives and utensils are put away, is there any knives on the tables used for. what they would be used for. does the bowl of chopped meat look like it was cut with knvives? ]

Is it bad I still want some breakfast? [ look listen... ] But holy shit, I don't think I can eat anything that comes out of here again oh my god.

given what is going on outside of the oven, dave is pretty sure he doesn't want to open the oven.

He'll just hover behind Dave for a sec before crouching to peer into the oven. What's behind door number what-the-fuck?]

[Careful, the oven's still hot. Roasting away in a turkey pan within is a human torso. The center of it has been split open and hollowed out of organs, and it's been arranged in a similar fashion as a roasted turkey.

Also, there's a turkey baster stuck in the butt.]

Ok, so. So. This is kinda what happened to Niles and Maria right? Who or what the fuck is pulling this shit? Alice?

[Lets close the oven.] This had to've been maybe a couple of hours ago. Blood's not quite dry yet.

[ how is there a blood trail going toward the wall if the wall and floor are painted with blood. should they follow it to the wall. let's go follow it to the wall while the boys have a meltdown. ]

And that cloaking device can't be out to someone yet so unless they're hiding in a cabinet or a hidden door or--[...okay what if he sort of pushes on the wall to check for a hidden door. He'll probably just end up with blood on his hand maybe but worth a shot.]

[It's pitch black inside the vent. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

If they use their datapads to light the way, they'll find a heavy blood trail within the vent.]

[ bring on the grues. roxy will grab a knife and captchalog it, though she's sure her fists are good enough. probably. maybe. not really. she will fight the grues anyway. ]

It's a smart idea to send Roxy first since she can go intangible and give us time to back out if we need to. Go for it. [And once Roxy and Dave are in the vent, he's following too. Why is there so much blood.]
