monday - thursday (33) survivors Sunday's trial was only mere hours ago, but you find yourself faced with a new week on The Pygmalion. When you awaken, you will find the ship restored to its previous state, all areas interfered with during the murder looking mostly the same as they did before. [He's still trying to subtly take the lead but he mostly follows Roxy along that blood trail.] You're the only one with the invisibility trick aren't ya? And that cloaking device can't be out to someone yet so unless they're hiding in a cabinet or a hidden door or--[...okay what if he sort of pushes on the wall to check for a hidden door. He'll probably just end up with blood on his hand maybe but worth a shot.]

[It's pitch black inside the vent. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

If they use their datapads to light the way, they'll find a heavy blood trail within the vent.]

[ bring on the grues. roxy will grab a knife and captchalog it, though she's sure her fists are good enough. probably. maybe. not really. she will fight the grues anyway. ]

[He's grabbing a knife for himself and also lighting up his datapad. He should go first, but...]

It's a smart idea to send Roxy first since she can go intangible and give us time to back out if we need to. Go for it. [And once Roxy and Dave are in the vent, he's following too. Why is there so much blood.]

[The trail's pretty short; the vent seems to lead to the room right next door.

Looks like it's the arrival room.]

[ down the rabbit tunnel and cautiously into the arrival room, then. ]

Either the killer escaped into here or killed and dragged Todd from here. This is where he was, right?

[ is the arrival room also covered in blood ]

[ dave will climb out of the vent after roxy. ]

You'd think so. Alice said stasis and this is where we came from. I'm gonna guess he was killed here and then dragged to the kitchen. [The rest makes no sense. But out of the vent he goes and he's immediately looking at the pods for anything out of place.] Also explains how our culprit sneaked out after the fact. Nobody would think to look down here this early in the day.

[It's immediately apparent what's out of place. One of the doors to the pods has been wrenched off and bent in half, similar to last week. Blood puddles around it, soaking the floor, though there aren't any more body parts to be seen. The blood leads to the vent that they're exiting from now.

Also, they'll likely notice that the door to the arrival room is shut and locked tight.]

Yeah, looks like it. But goddamn why? Also, how, because wow how many people can rip off those doors. Only Rhys was able to get stuck in one, but rip 'em right off?

[ she's going to the door to test it and uh ]

The door's locked. So, uh, let's hope they didn't come back in here when they ran. [ because then they'd be locked in with them welp ]

They might've gone elsewhere in the vent system? Shit, don't they go...elsewhere?

[ you guys crawled around in them don't you know? dave doesn't. ]

[He's the least concerned about the locked door since he's pretty sure he can unlock it himself, so he's going to go look at the pod door and the blood around said-pod. There's a low whistle.]

Either somebody's lying about what they can really do or we're dealing with something totally different. [He looks up though.] Where would they have gone? I'm pretty sure nobody's hiding in one of the other pods--[He hopes.]--but Dave might be onto something. The vents are probably how they're getting around. When we went to check them out during the trial the only one we found that was open was in the storage room on the bottom deck. But doesn't mean there aren't other ones hidden. [Let's examine the pod door. Anything weird about that in how it was torn off, etc?]

[Nothing weird about the pod door other than the whole being torn off thing.]

[ roxy will walk around the room checking for signs of a murderer hiding. is there. ]

We should really, like. Map out the vents. I know there's one that Alice has, but if there's some jackass sneaking around in them to murder the fuck out of people in fucked up ways, we might want to. Idk, watch out.

That's not a bad plan. [And with him and Adrien both immune this week...] I might shove the cat back up in there and we'll start drawing out a map to see where everything goes. For all we know it'll lead us into other rooms, too.

[At least if it's them they won't get killed so there's that.] We should probably leave soon.
