WEEK 0 - Awakening
the pygmalion. . . ONLINE ![]() CAPTAIN'S LOG: WEEK (0) |
friday - sunday (41) survivors ![]() You awaken with stiff arms and legs — a pervading out-of-body feeling. You may briefly find it difficult to move your limbs, only able to stare lifelessly out of the blue tinted glass in front of your eyes. It's very cold. It's so cold that your heart seems to beat only every so often. Are your eyes even open yet? It would be so easy to slip back into a deep sleep, to let your frigid body rest a while longer. That probably isn't what you want to do, though. You want out of the claustrophobic pod you've found yourself in. If you wiggle your head enough, you can turn to see other pods much like yours — other people, all in identical utilitarian outfits, made complete with an emblem on the sleeve. No matter how much you whoop, or how much they holler, none of you can hear a single thing. Until a song begins to jangle loudly. As it reaches its chorus, the pods unlock, their latches lazily swinging up above you. You can't worm yourself out of the blankets you're wrapped in fast enough. As the song reaches its inevitable end, you're met with a deafening silence and an enveloping darkness — the dim lights above only serve to showcase the room's sleek and chrome walls and floors. If you get tired of the suffocating tension in this room, you may decide to venture outside — there's an entire building waiting to be explored. A building? For some reason that doesn't seem right. There's no exit, only a nonfunctional elevator. Everything is of polished design, yet it does not feel quite right — it's much too dead. Strangely, most rooms seem to contain an identical statue, one of two twins knelt and holding a jar, as if to pour its contents to the floor. It remains one of the few rustic design elements of the area. To make matters more eerie, there are doors — rooms, it seems like — with names on plaques. Your names. Trying to twist the valves open yield nothing, however — they're locked. It's all confusing, strange, nonsensical, and everyone is so loud. Perhaps if everyone would shut up — if only you could shut them up — you could— Silence. ENTER COMMAND_ |
friday room search aka gtfo u stalker
Marinette! Hi!
[he waves. it sure is good to have something else familiar here...]
I'm glad to see you.
[SEES NOTHING WRONG WITH HER LOVINGLY CREEPING ON HIS DOOR, NOPE]
never 1/2
[and she's jumping about a half a foot into the air]
no subject
[Marinette, this is embarrassing, even for you.]
Is.... this your... I mean, this is your door on the name......
[nailed it.]
no subject
Yeah, there's names on all these doors. So I guess this one is mine? I'm really not sure what's happening.
no subject
[Yes, that's an emotion]
I, um, I don't know! I thought this was a pinch, so I dreamed myself--- I mean, I dreamed I was in a pinch-- I mean.....
[Now she just groans and puts her head in her hands. THIS IS WORSE THAN USUAL]
What are you doing.... I mean, what are you doing here?
no subject
I don't know. I just woke up here a few hours ago. Did the same thing happen to you?
no subject
[She peeks through her hands at him. At least her palm's hiding the doofy smile that's spreading across her face]
Y...Yes.... and all of my things were missing... I don't know what happened.
Adrien.... do you, I mean.... if you woke up like me, then I guess you wouldn't know, why am I asking...
[She's in a state indeed]
no subject
What did you say?
no subject
[This is worse than usual]
I... don't know what's going on, Adrien. Where are we?
no subject
I don't know. I haven't looked around much yet. Everything's like something out of a sci-fi novel. I was trying to find--
[his ring. uh.]
--something familiar, then I saw you.
no subject
Oh.... Well, you're familiar! To me! Ehehe.... so I guess you found something!
[Marinette, please get ahold of yourself]
I haven't seen Alya or [Tikki] anyone...
no subject
[PURE SMILE]
[@ adrien this is why marinette is in love with you you goob]
1/2 this is really aptly keyworded
[WHAT IF]
[Maybe this whole kidnapping isn't so bad after all... if she gets to be ~alone~ with Adrien.... in jumpsuits.....]
no subject
Well, I would be happier if we weren't trapped, but if I have to be trapped with someone, I'm glad it's.... Well, I'm...
[where can she hide]
[where can she]
no subject
Thanks, Marinette. Do you think we should look around together? Maybe there's some kind of hint as to how and why we got here.
no subject
[But his smile is so beautiful, she could get lost in it if she wasn't being an awkward pile of melting goo. Or she can do both.]
Look around.... together?
[Her eyes light up at the prospect. Marinette, please, this is a creepy kidnapping?? Not a date??]
Yes! Let's!
no subject
[BECAUSE IT'S SUCH A SURPRISE]
Good! I'm sure we can figure something out, with the both of us.
[he starts walking at a slow enough pace for her to immediately catch up, heading towards ~the unknown~]
What's the last thing you remember before ending up here?
no subject
Of... of course! When we're together, we can do anything!
[don't mind her as she just stares dreamily at him and takes an extra minute to realize he asked her something]
R-Remember? I, um.... well..... [about to meet Master Fu, but then the season ended up on a cliffhanger] Well, there was a new girl, Lila....
no subject
Oh, yeah. I went home after... [volpina shit uh he means] school. The last thing I can remember is I was in my room, looking for--
[a book because his dad was going to kill him. that makes adrien pause. at least now his dad is going to be furious adrien got kidnapped instead of having his book missing?? small... favors......]
Well, I guess it doesn't matter now. What I meant to say is that I don't know how I got here.
no subject
[And thanks to that, she misses 90% of what he says because she's too busy barely holding in a squeal]
I don't know either! At least we don't know together!
[that is not comforting, Marinette. Also: very loud and awkward]
no subject
Um. Yeah. Right. [he's just going to change the subject then...] Hey, do you think this could be the result of someone being akumatized? I haven't seen a lot of them up close [a lie on more than one level considering Papillon has picked on literally all their classmates but ok] but this doesn't seem out of the realm of their power. Maybe someone who really wishes science fiction movies were better treated or something?
[ofc it doesn't make a lot of sense for it to be the work of Papillon if he's missing his ring, but Marinette doesn't know that he's secretly Chat Noir, so... Gosh! He sure hopes Ladybug is doing okay on her own in Paris! Where she definitely is!!!!]
no subject
[but she'll sober up a bit at this. Too bad Adrivision keeps her from calling him out on his obvious shit, because if she thought about it, she could name five times he was up close and personal with an akuma. But she isn't thinking about it!! Because she's too busy fantasizing about them together, ~alone~ on a spaceship!!]
No, if someone were akumatized, this would be an illusion. Or they would have gone after--- [her miraculous, but she just barely catches herself] Ladybug and Chat Noir. [And both Ladybug and Chat Noir are!! definitely!! in Paris!!!] And they're not here, so...!
The people who are akumatized go after whoever their target is right away. [A beat] A-At least... I think so! From what I've seen!
no subject
[anyway wow yeah chat noir is definitely not here...nope... not here at all...]
You're right. It makes sense. I guess I was kind of hoping this was an illusion. It'd be easier than trying to get back home from space!
[ha ha! what a funny joke!!! not.]
no subject
[And Marinette just knows from the Ladyblog!!]
[She laughs awkwardly at his terrible joke... because it's Marinette. And it's awkward, believe you me]
Eheheh... well, maybe we're not in space. It could just be a trick to make us think we are - like a prank, or an experiment.
[let's not think too hard about the implications]
no subject
Do you think so? It all looks pretty real to me, but... It's not like we can check without risking someone getting hurt.
[people die in the vacuum of space, marinette]
