Oh my God.

[ Her hands immediately go up to shield her vision, looking away as tears begin to form in her eyes and bead down her cheeks. This was unlike anything she had ever seen before and she's definitely going to try and walk towards the walls to ignore what just happened, sobbing to herself. ]

[heading to her after it's over, gently reaching forward to put a hand on her back]

Miss Adelina - just a moment. I only need a moment. [ She says between her sniffles, trying to gain a steady breathing. It was so much more morbid than anything Booker had done... it wasn't a simple gunshot or hit from the skyhook - it was angelic. A divine condemnation. ] We clearly did not suspect that would occur.

[bloodbiter]

You don't need to only take a moment. Take as long as you need.

It was certainly more dramatic than I anticipated, that much is true.

[ She's trying not to make this about her. With the display that just went on, the woman feels selfish. ]

It looked like some kind of illusion.

I would not underestimate how real an illusion can be in this of all places.

[ She finally is able to look at the girl, sighing heavily and keeping a strong face. ]

I do not think she is living, but... I don't see how they could have accomplished something like that.

[she shakes her head quickly. honestly, being able to help someone, however slightly, makes her feel a bit better herself.]

It is no waste, Elizabeth, truly. I am upset it came to this, but I will endure.

How could they have brought us all here in the first place? We can't be ignorant. [ Elizabeth doesn't mean to sound cold, and she really does apologize with a stammering I'm sorry soon after. ] We can't let this happen again... there's no way it can be so easy for this to occur.

[bloodbiter]

We should certainly be more vigilant. I would advise you to stay with at least one other person... Someone you trust.

Perhaps we can together? I want to discuss a few things with someone, but I wouldn't be opposed to keeping in your good company, if you'd have me.

[bloodbiter]

Oh... Yes, of course. I would be happy to do so.

I'd like to check on Jessie first, so I must excuse myself momentarily but - [ She needs to definitely keep an eye out on Adelina. ] I was hoping we can discuss how we plan to defend ourselves if any such occasion arrises.
