Nothing about this makes sense. She admitted to lying... why? Our survival? There was a bigger chance of someone here killing and us surviving if we all thought it was the only way for our specific hostage to live. The info we've got about this entire project implied that it went through a lot of trouble to get off the ground, but now suddenly we've got two ships running it?

I don't know. It doesn't... make sense. She said they learned about everything before us, including aliens, but... the captain died? If there was a second ship, shouldn't they have answered the signal?
