WEEK 1 - Investigation

the pygmalion. . .

ONLINE

CAPTAIN'S LOG:
WEEK (1)

friday

(?) survivors

Friday careens around the corner soon enough, much like every day preceding it does. This morning, however, is greeted with a surprise — your datapad is making a strange noise. Perhaps it's buried under the duvet you're sleeping under, or at the far corner of the room, maybe you're the forgetful type and left it in the bathroom, or maybe, just maybe, you have it right next to your ear when a song blasts at full volume. Upon inspection, you'll find the accompanying video is playing as well. The song seems to loop, this time being overlain with a voice recanting the history of the band in a steady, robotic tone. Was it the AI? You probably didn't care, and, instead, decided to leave your room.

Once you do, the song finally ends. You are free. You may feel rather manipulated right now, or you are just satiated to be away from the music. Either way, it's clear your day has only just begun.

The AI removed the body right away, implying there are things we aren't supposed to see. I believe they're prepping it for the "trial". We can make guesses as to who the killer is based off of who might have taken the motive as serious, but....

[she doesn't want to do it that way.] That isn't a reliable way to narrow down the suspect pool.

Jessie, Elizabeth, and Machias were the first to discover the body. She died from two stab wounds, and while the three of them are suspects, they would have had to move very quickly to loop back to "discover" it if one of them had been the killers.

[ ......... he doesn't make an outright comment on adri... ah, sorry, chat noir's mutterings, but there's a slight shift in expression like it all suddenly makes sense.

superheroes. how nice. purrkour. ]

I see. [ to all information currently obtained here. ] Allow me to ask two additional questions: the state of the scene, and whether or not a murder weapon has been discovered... to your knowledge.

[he starts listing some facts] The murder happened in the daycare. The merry-go-round was turned over, and the ballpit was punctured by something.

[and if chat was more callous he'd make a joke about two victims but somebody died he isn't there yet]

There was blood on some of the balls in there, and it looked like some were squashed by something... or someone. I'm not sure where the body was found exactly in the daycare? [at that one he looks at Ladybug, since he always expects her to have gotten more info than him somehow] And as far as I know no one found a weapon, but-- Calico Mew? [wait. that's probably not right. err.] Calypso Who? [SHIT] The victim was stabbed by something, I know that much.

Anything to add, my Lady?
