friday (?) survivors Friday careens around the corner soon enough, much like every day preceding it does. This morning, however, is greeted with a surprise — your datapad is making a strange noise. Perhaps it's buried under the duvet you're sleeping under, or at the far corner of the room, maybe you're the forgetful type and left it in the bathroom, or maybe, just maybe, you have it right next to your ear when a song blasts at full volume. Upon inspection, you'll find the accompanying video is playing as well. The song seems to loop, this time being overlain with a voice recanting the history of the band in a steady, robotic tone. Was it the AI? You probably didn't care, and, instead, decided to leave your room. Once you do, the song finally ends. You are free. You may feel rather manipulated right now, or you are just satiated to be away from the music. Either way, it's clear your day has only just begun. ENTER COMMAND_

Frankenstein's expression softens for a moment before he reaches out to place a hand on her shoulder, a reassuring gesture.]

The incentive provided could be quite tempting to some, as shameful as it may be to admit.

[ Welcome to Bioshock Infinite, y'all. Nothing is reassuring.

She finally pulls her arms out, finding nothing of value herself. She pulls at the gloves carefully, snapping them off her hands and offering them politely back to him. Only a few blood stains streak near their wrist. ]

It's unrealistic. [ Says the girl who can create universes. ] To have that kind of power - no one is impervious to anything.

Probably true. He's spiritually tied to one of the strongest beings in the universe and even he's not incapable of being harmed, as much as Frankenstein would want otherwise.]

Is that enough to keep someone from foolishly hoping? This entire situation is unrealistic, Elizabeth.

[brooches]

[ Welp, it makes sense because they're all trapped here and she has no control over her powers. So, yeah it's still realistic but Elizabeth is naive to believe someone wouldn't have done this. ]

Hoping and murdering someone are two very different concepts. It takes a sick person to meld them together.

Or simply someone desperate.

[Though that in itself could be a sickness, he supposes.]

I certainly don't blame you for your shock and judgment - but it's remarkable what someone who has been pushed too far is capable of.
