WEEK 1 - Investigation

the pygmalion. . .

ONLINE

CAPTAIN'S LOG:
WEEK (1)

friday

(?) survivors

Friday careens around the corner soon enough, much like every day preceding it does. This morning, however, is greeted with a surprise — your datapad is making a strange noise. Perhaps it's buried under the duvet you're sleeping under, or at the far corner of the room, maybe you're the forgetful type and left it in the bathroom, or maybe, just maybe, you have it right next to your ear when a song blasts at full volume. Upon inspection, you'll find the accompanying video is playing as well. The song seems to loop, this time being overlain with a voice recanting the history of the band in a steady, robotic tone. Was it the AI? You probably didn't care, and, instead, decided to leave your room.

Once you do, the song finally ends. You are free. You may feel rather manipulated right now, or you are just satiated to be away from the music. Either way, it's clear your day has only just begun.

[she's been peeking around the room, but as harold notices that elizabeth is going back to the ballpit... well, she's going to interrupt. she won't actively stop her from looking around, but she's got questions.]

So what actually happened in here, from what you guys found? We should get that a little more out in the open first now that we know who the person is. [calisto blue? an name to match her suit? something like that.

she can ask what elizabeth is looking for in a second, but finding out the other stuff needs to come first.]

The door was open - it was odd because there was but a single ball out, like someone forgot to put it up. My thought was to merely toss it inside and be done with it but...

[ She recalls, sighing heavily. ]

The ballpit was deflated. Everyone had been using it - so childishly at that, it wasn't a shock it had torn.

[ Even she notes the material had been thin. ]

They discovered the body, but I discovered the blood. [ A clarification and she stammers: ] It was over by the merry-go-round.

[she's quiet for the most part, listening and humming in acknowledgement.]

So you found the blood before the body. It must have been messy—Hm?

[she'll pick up one of the flattened balls, quirking a brow at it.] The body was over there? My, my, that's interesting.

I don't know much else.

[ Elizabeth admits, taking it far better than it was to be expected. ]

Jessie was with the body much longer, she may provide more answers.
