WEEK 8

the pygmalion. . .

ONLINE

CAPTAIN'S LOG:
WEEK (8)

monday - thursday

(23) survivors

Sunday's trial was only mere hours ago, but you find yourself faced with a new week on The Pygmalion. When you awaken, you will find the ship restored to its previous state, all areas interfered with during the murder looking mostly the same as they did before. Along with this, it appears there are new areas opened on the ship. It seems you have more exploring to do. The robot in the cafeteria has prepared another breakfast of various foods.

(OOC: Please submit your murder proposals by 9 PM EST Tuesday.)

[This is what happens when you give Luke something to do so he can fidget. He looks up when she speaks, amused but not really in a position to judge.]

There are far worse places to be hiding out. [Dootdootdoot, frog castle…] When I was a kid I used to hang out in the woods to get away from everybody else at Camp or the arena. It really only got bad when I'd get distracted and miss some of the lessons I was teaching. [That is to say he can't exactly blame her.]

[Knocking a bunch of plastic frogs on the ground again in the process, she folds her arms on the table so she can lay her head down on them. Running off to the woods sounds as close to wonderful as things get for her now, actually—the gardens are close, but always too bustling. Hiding from everyone isn't especially shameful, given that she's running especially low on fucks to give, but getting found kind of is. There's a difference.

But she's still pretty intently watching frog castle come together. This is close to the most interested she's been in anything in weeks! That's mostly just sad.

She hums, understanding.
] Better places, too, probably. Just not really around here.

[Bye frogs. He really doesn't care and he's not sure if he's building for her or for himself. Maybe both.]

Not yet anyway. We keep getting new rooms all the time. Maybe Alice will finally give us a room we can use all for our own that allows people to be undisturbed even by the robots.

Aren't you optimistic. Maybe we'll get a no-murder-zone, too.

[Apparently she's not too depressed to be bitterly sarcastic? She's still got her head down, so apparently she has the energy for sass or for keeping her head literally up, but not both.]
chiseler: (I have one foot out & one foot almost in)

I'm not an optimist, Clover. I'm a liar. [Whether he's serious or not is up for interpretation and he's not even sure she's going to register it anyway. The sarcasm's noted and it soon becomes clear he's making the frogs into the shape of the Empire State Building (or at least as well as he can.)] You never know with Alice. Protest enough, she might actually do something about it.
