[There's a moment where it's almost uncertain whether Frankenstein thinks that's enough - however given the fact that Dorian did try to have faith in him for a time, he eventually acquiesces with a nod. In truth, Frankenstein doesn't know how much he's done in regards to the children or what he's done for the people here. He's never seen himself as the giving type.]

And I will hold you to it.

[He's grateful, actually. He doesn't know how honest Frankenstein is being, but he would like to think he genuinely accepts it. The harshness he's been treated with helps; there's nothing he hates more than being treated more kindly than he deserves by someone he's wronged.]

The truth is, I believed you. Before the fingerprints, obviously. I didn't think you would have killed your friend.
