[She could at least attempt to break free for real but at the heart of things, even if she's a superhero, Marinette's still a fifteen year old girl. One who desperately misses her parents and the guidance they've given her, one that's more and more starting to find Frankenstein as a comforting, if a little overbearing presence. She still misses her parents like crazy, but with Frankenstein around, she misses them a little less.]

[She swallows back her tears because she's Ladybug, right now, she has to be strong - she can't show weakness when so many people are counting on her, she has to be the hero for them - but her voice is definitely cracking and breaking when she responds]
