Are they? Do tell. [Raising an eyebrow with obvious interest. Which isn't untrue; he's very interested, but he's also getting a sense an appeal to its vanity is the way to go.] Circumstances could be better, but I can't deny wanting to know more about a creature like you. What's more powerful than a demon?

[Well, that certainly drops the bottom out of his stomach. What the hell does that mean? AI's little pet aside, what was he the favorite choice for? His mind goes immediately to what's happened to Elizabeth - demon possession. He'd like to think he'd know. He's been training only his entire life to thwart possession, after all. But the fear grips him entirely for a moment before another possibility occurs. The wine; it isn't necessarily Hancock's drink, but it certainly is his. Would he be so stupid to trust someone like Elizabeth bringing him wine on a Friday and wanting to talk? He suspects the answer, sadly, is yes. If Hancock's role hadn't come out, would he have...

He tries to shake off the worry for now. There are other things to attend to, particularly when Elizabeth turns her attention to Fiona.
