the pygmalion. . . ONLINE CAPTAIN'S LOG: WEEK (1)

monday (41) survivors It had been three days since you had awoken. The ship was still quiet, except for the low hums of enigmatic machines with no apparent purpose. You awake, like usual, to dim lighting and poor rations. Perhaps being on the ship had grown monotonous — it was, perhaps, amazing how little anything seemed to happen in space, a final frontier of malaise. That monotony is crushed by a voice echoing through the narrow hallways. Reformatting . . . Reformatting . . . Reformatting complete. The Pygmalion is online. Welcome, travelers. Please assemble in the meeting room. Your presence is mandatory. Silence falls once again. A minute or so passes, and the lights around the ship finally brighten, the walls looking more alive and more unfamiliar — as if you must relearn the ship's interior once again. The robots on deck begin to make rounds, nudging and pushing at the ship's passengers to make their way to the meeting room. You hear the doors behind you lock. It seems there is only one path to take. ENTER COMMAND_

[The first point he gags on because ew gross. The second point actually intrigues him, since while he's not sure how honest Jack's being, he's always interested in powerful and charismatic rulers with obsessive followers. He rolls his eyes at the third point, because yes okay he gets it they're from different worlds stop being so pedantic.]

If you're a king and you don't plan on marrying him, then 'concubine' works as well as any other word! Or wannabe concubine in this case, I guess.

[But then Jack presents him with his drawing and ALL THOSE POINTS FLY OUT THE WINDOW to be replaced with the most beautiful work of art he's ever seen.]

Ahahaha, that's it! [He points at the OOH MISTER JACK OOOH panel, laughing his ass off.] That was exactly his face when he was talking about you! Wow, you're really good at this, they should've put artist down on your list of skills!

[If this comic somehow presents Jack in a bad light, Judar sure as hell doesn't see it...]

[ At getting his art praised, Jack actually does look decently proud of himself like a moron, and all of Judar's rudeness is (briefly) forgotten for the time being. ]

Well, I mean, if they listed all of my skills, it'd probably overflow the text field. So they had to pick the top ones or something, I bet. [ shut up Jack ]
