It had been three days since you had awoken. The ship was still quiet, except for the low hums of enigmatic machines with no apparent purpose. You awake, like usual, to dim lighting and poor rations. Perhaps being on the ship had grown monotonous — it was, perhaps, amazing how little anything seemed to happen in space, a final frontier of malaise.
That monotony is crushed by a voice echoing through the narrow hallways.

Reformatting . . .
Reformatting complete. The Pygmalion is online. Welcome, travelers. Please assemble in the meeting room. Your presence is mandatory.Silence falls once again. A minute or so passes, and the lights around the ship finally brighten, the walls looking more alive and more unfamiliar — as if you must relearn the ship's interior once again. The robots on deck begin to make rounds, nudging and pushing at the ship's passengers to make their way to the meeting room. You hear the doors behind you lock. It seems there is only one path to take.

... I see it's not one to mince any details.
[ you know the level of detail they seem to have on them is just a tad unsettling. also: yelling. and singing too?! the rest is kind of foreboding and some people's profiles leave a less-than-positive impression but what's with all these extraneous deets?! ]

[ NOT EVEN FIVE MINUTES in and he's cranky. ]

[ it's not like she's wrong but still: leave him alone ]
Besides, I'm not the one with "breaking and entering" listed on theirs!

[Is she lying or is she not?]
Wouldn't you have done the same thing?

[ CALLED IT ]

[ well like. HE'S NOT WRONG but priorities. where are they. ]

[ do u disagree ]

You know, I'm beginning to question where your priorities lie. Have you seen some of these other skills listed?
[ emphasis on "seen" there is one guy with mass murder and another with stalking. if they're jokes (please be jokes), they're not funny at all! ]

[ he shrugs. ]
Also kinda par for the course.

{ 'Military', eh, Machias?
Naturally this means he'll be making note of it to involve you in some extreme training sometime just because. }

[ sigh. don't bang down his door at five a.m. for training exercises now. ]
All of this only raises more questions. So far, there's been a primary focus on combat-related skills.

It could be a hint that they want to pull us into a violent conflict.

... Please don't say that. [ he's already concerned that's the case, don't jinx it! ] Though whatever it is, it certainly doesn't sound any better with each passing minute.

[what kind of dumb statement is that even, machias. she gets not liking what it has to say, but isn't it to be expected?]
no subject
[ come on assuming it's just harmless doxxing (wait how is that harmless?!), what even is the point of having this much data ]

[it doesn't mean she likes it.]

[ Fumi honestly doesn't care about what her card says. ]

[ he sighs. ... wait, why is he going along with this! ]
T-That doesn't change the fact some of this is a little excessive! And concerning.

Tsukuyo doesn't seem to be reading anyone's profile for what it's worth, but she's finding it hard to ignore the reactions.]
It's effective, admittedly, as far as introductions go. [Just think, they didn't even need a big character arc to get everyone's traits out there!]
no subject
[ it's not a valid skill! a lot of these skills on other peoples' profiles aren't valid skills! ]
I'm not going to disagree it's effectiveness in giving us a rundown of who's who, but don't you think some of the details here seem more than a little excessive? Why would they need this much?

[MAKING FUN OF THEM???]
Laughing at your enemies is effective as anything else for something like that.
