monday (41) survivors It had been three days since you had awoken. The ship was still quiet, except for the low hums of enigmatic machines with no apparent purpose. You awake, like usual, to dim lighting and poor rations. Perhaps being on the ship had grown monotonous — it was, perhaps, amazing how little anything seemed to happen in space, a final frontier of malaise. That monotony is crushed by a voice echoing through the narrow hallways. Reformatting . . . Reformatting . . . Reformatting complete. The Pygmalion is online. Welcome, travelers. Please assemble in the meeting room. Your presence is mandatory. Silence falls once again. A minute or so passes, and the lights around the ship finally brighten, the walls looking more alive and more unfamiliar — as if you must relearn the ship's interior once again. The robots on deck begin to make rounds, nudging and pushing at the ship's passengers to make their way to the meeting room. You hear the doors behind you lock. It seems there is only one path to take. ENTER COMMAND_

[Marinette's look of disbelief and 'are you fucking kidding me' start in the beginning of the speech and deepen as the AI keeps AIsplaining.]

[By the end of it, she looks pretty done with their shit. She claps sarcastically and then immediately mouths off]

If this isn't just a terrible attempt at a joke--- [can robots even make jokes] then nice try. But even by the so-called rules of your "project", it can't go on if no one kills.

And if you think for one moment than any of us will agree to these terms [Marinette you sweet summer child] and try to kill each other, just because you tell us to, your circuits are completely fried!

[he'd actually been gearing up to say something similar, but-- Marinette really nailed it. That was almost Ladybug-esque. If he wasn't in love with Ladybug, that might be enough to make him fall for her!

And we don't know this isn't just a lie to scare us into complying. Who's to say the "incentives" are even real in the first place?

[That's a great speech and like the positive alternative to what Emily was saying seconds ago. The difference? Emily knows to only speak for herself and she can't hold back calling Marinette out on that. She's only a little jaded.]

You'd be surprised how little incentive some people need to kill each other. [There's a bitter bite to that comment.] Doesn't make this any less dumb but you can't really speak for anyone else. Even if you think you know them.

None of us want to be trapped here, and there's no guarantee they'll let us go even if we do "play"! For all we know, there is no real 'project', and this is just a trick to scare us into killing. Who's going to let themselves be used like that?

Look, just speak for yourself. You can have great hopes and dreams that no one else will follow them, and that's the best case scenario, but realistically there's going to be someone with a peabrain who gets agitated and acts without thinking. Not everyone's smart in this world.

It is a nice sentiment, but I would be more cautious with who you place your trust in, and who you collect in "we". I say this as someone who would like to see you remain alive.

[Dong Toucher..... such wisdom. Marinette can't fully appreciate it, because she is a superhero, and therefore: kind of a dumbass, but it's the thought that counts]

Thank you for your concern, monsieur, but I'm not about to let a coward who hides behind a machine manipulate me into playing along with their little murder "project". [gosh, Dong Toucher, she can take care of herself, she's a big girl]

I share your thoughts, yes. Well—that I won't allow myself to be manipulated into their twisted outline, but I cannot speak for others. All I can say with certainty is that someone will inevitably play along—and you should prepare yourself for such a possibility.
