friday (?) survivors Friday comes, and with it, the return of alarms for all the late-risers out there; those up before 9:00 AM will have an alarm-free morning. This one thankfully is a pretty gentle duet, the soft keys jangling you awake. It's not as invasive as some of the previous alarms, as once it ends, it just ends. It doesn't keep playing until you leave your room. If you check your datapad again, however, it will play the song again. It seems it's beckoning you somewhere, somehow, and you feel drawn to explore the ship, however anxious you may be. [It's Friday and everyone knows what happens on Fridays.

It makes her a bit nervous, but she decides to venture to do something instead of staying in her room. That's why she goes to the gym]

[Depending on how familiar she is with the gym, she may notice a few things missing.]

[While she doesn't come everyday, she does come often enough to notice any obvious missing objects. Anything that requires staring longer than a few seconds to find out will surely go unnoticed for the moment.

Let's see if anything screams 'MISSING'!]

[Nothing screams MISSING, but there does seem to be a couple of empty gaps where the dumbbells are stored.]

[Well that's noticeable enough. Dumbbells, huh...how heavy would those dumbbells be? Is that something she could find out now, maybe by checking the nearby dumbbells?]

[From the placement of the gaps, it looks like the missing dumbbells are probably 15lb ones.]

[Right. Got it. Shelley makes mental note - Friday! It's necessary! - and takes a last look around. Is there anything else worth noticing or can she continue with her everyday life until a body is found?]

[There seems to be a couple more things out of place, though she'll probably have to walk around in more detail to tell what.]

[Shelley had started some exercises to stay in shape - being in space is no excuse for letting herself lose her physical prowess - when the body notification sounded in her datapad. Welp. Friday happened, let's get the show on the road]

If the culprit took some dumbbells...there could be more clues around here!

[With some luck maybe she'll find clues about the killer! That's why she starts looking around with more attention now. Let's find some groundbreaking evidence!]

[She'll notice a couple of resistance bands are missing as well.

It doesn't seem like there's anything else off in the gym - at least not in the workout area.]

[Resistance bands. Shelley can't guess yet just how one would use dumbbells and resistane bands. Criminals, how do they think?

But she doesn't find anything else here...there was one other place in the gym, wasn't it? The lockers room. Something could be there]

[It's not immediately obvious, but if she looks carefully, she'll see that one of the dryers is slightly open.]

[There's nothing in the dryer, but she'll notice that it's still warm. It looks like it might have been recently used.]
